  1. 教會唯一的根基，是主耶穌基督；聖水聖言所造成，是主的新創作；
    主從上天來求她，為主聖潔新婦；捨身流血求得她，建立萬年基礎。
  2. 雖從萬邦選出來，信徒卻成一體，教會救恩的憑證，一主、一信、一洗；
    同尊唯一的聖名，同餐唯一天糧，同懷唯一的希望，同蒙恩愛久長。
  3. 她在爭戰喧聲裡，艱難勞苦之中，她卻深信有平安，安心靜待成功；
    直至欲穿的望眼，看見光榮遠象；到時凱旋的教會，得享永憩無疆。
  4. 她雖在地卻聯合真神三位一體，已享安息聖眾的神祕甜蜜團契，
    懇求救主使我們，能像快樂聖眾，同樣溫柔又謙虛，永在主前供奉。阿們。

[ The Church's One Foundation ]
  • The Church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord;
    She is His new creation by water and the Word.
    From heaven He came and sought her to be His holy bride;
    With His own blood He bought her, and for her life He died.
  • Elect from every nation, yet one over all the earth;
    Her charter of salvation, one Lord, one faith, one birth;
    One holy name she blesses, partakes one holy food,
    And to one hope she presses, with every grace endured.
  • Mid toil and tribulation, and tumult of her war,
    She wants the consummation of peace forever more;
    Till, with the vision glorious, Her longing eyes are blest;
    And the great Church victorious shall be the church at rest.
  • Yet she on earth hath union with God the Three in One,
    And mystic sweet communion with those whose rest is won.
    O happy ones and holy! Lord, give us grace that we,
