彼得後書（2 Peter）
cuv≡彼後≡1≡1≡作耶穌基督僕人和使徒的西門彼得寫信給那因我們的神和（有古卷沒有和字）救主耶穌基督之義，與我們同得一樣寶貴信心的人。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡1≡Simeon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained a faith of equal standing with ours in the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
cuv≡彼後≡1≡2≡願恩惠、平安因你們認識神和我們主耶穌多多的加給你們。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡2≡May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡3≡神的神能已將一切關乎生命和虔敬的事賜給我們，皆因我們認識那用自己榮耀和美德召我們的主。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡3≡His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
cuv≡彼後≡1≡4≡因此，他已將又寶貴又極大的應許賜給我們，叫我們既脫離世上從情慾來的敗壞，就得與神的性情有分。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡4≡by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, that through these you may escape from the corruption that is in the world because of passion, and become partakers of the divine nature.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡5≡正因這緣故，你們要分外的殷勤；有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知識；
rsv≡彼後≡1≡5≡For this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,
cuv≡彼後≡1≡6≡有了知識，又要加上節制；有了節制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬；
rsv≡彼後≡1≡6≡and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,
cuv≡彼後≡1≡7≡有了虔敬，又要加上愛弟兄的心；有了愛弟兄的心，又要上加上愛眾人的心；
rsv≡彼後≡1≡7≡and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡8≡你們若充充足足的有這幾樣，就必使你們在認識我們的主耶穌基督上不至於閒懶不結果子了。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡8≡For if these things are yours and abound, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡9≡人若沒有這幾樣，就是眼瞎，只看見近處的，忘了他舊日的罪已經得了潔淨。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡9≡For whoever lacks these things is blind and shortsighted and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡10≡所以弟兄們，應當更加殷勤，使你們所蒙的恩召和揀選堅定不移。你們若行這幾樣，就永不失腳。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡10≡Therefore, brethren, be the more zealous to confirm your call and election, for if you do this you will never fall;
cuv≡彼後≡1≡11≡這樣，必叫你們豐豐富富的得以進入我們主救主耶穌基督永遠的國。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡11≡so there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡12≡你們雖然曉得這些事，並且在你們已有的真道上堅固，我卻要將這些事常常提醒你們。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡12≡Therefore I intend always to remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the truth that youhave.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡13≡我以為應當趁我還在這帳棚的時候提醒你們，激發你們。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡13≡I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to arouse you by way of reminder,
cuv≡彼後≡1≡14≡因為知道我脫離這帳棚的時候快到了，正如我們主耶穌基督所指示我的。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡14≡since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡15≡並且我要盡心竭力，使你們在我去世以後時常記念這些事。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡15≡And I will see to it that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡16≡我們從前將我們主耶穌基督的大能和他降臨的事告訴你們，並不是隨從乖巧捏造的虛言，乃是親眼見過他的威榮。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡16≡For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made knownto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡17≡他從父神得尊貴榮耀的時候，從極大榮光之中有聲音出來，向他說：「這是我的愛子，我所喜悅的。」
rsv≡彼後≡1≡17≡For when he received honor and glory from God the Father and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, 'This ismy beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,'
cuv≡彼後≡1≡18≡我們同他在聖山的時候，親自聽見這聲音從天上出來。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡18≡we heard this voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡19≡我們並有先知更確的預言，如同燈照在暗處。你們在這預言上留意，直等到天發亮，晨星在你們心裡出現的時候，纔是好的。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡19≡And we have the prophetic word made more sure. You will do well to pay attention to this as to a lamp shining in a darkplace, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
cuv≡彼後≡1≡20≡第一要緊的，該知道經上所有的預言沒有可隨私意解說的；
rsv≡彼後≡1≡20≡First of all you must understand this, that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of one's own interpretation,
cuv≡彼後≡1≡21≡因為預言從來沒有出於人意的，乃是人被聖靈感動，說出神的話來。
rsv≡彼後≡1≡21≡because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡1≡從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速的滅亡。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡1≡But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bringin destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡2≡將有許多人隨從他們邪淫的行為，便叫真道因他們的緣故被毀謗。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡2≡And many will follow their licentiousness, and because of them the way of truth will be reviled.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡3≡他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必速速來到（原文是不打盹）。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡3≡And in their greed they will exploit you with false words; from of old their condemnation has not been idle, and their destruction has not been asleep.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡4≡就是天使犯了罪，神也沒有寬容，曾把他們丟在地獄，交在黑暗坑中，等候審判。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡4≡For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of nether gloom to be kept until the judgment;
cuv≡彼後≡2≡5≡神也沒有寬容上古的世代，曾叫洪水臨到那不敬虔的世代，卻保護了傳義道的挪亞一家八口。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡5≡if he did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a herald of righteousness, with seven other persons, when hebrought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
cuv≡彼後≡2≡6≡又判定所多瑪、蛾摩拉，將二城傾覆，焚燒成灰，作為後世不敬虔人的鑑戒；
rsv≡彼後≡2≡6≡if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gomor'rah to ashes he condemned them to extinction and made them an example to those who were to be ungodly;
cuv≡彼後≡2≡7≡只搭救了那常為惡人淫行憂傷的義人羅得。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡7≡and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the licentiousness of the wicked
cuv≡彼後≡2≡8≡（因為那義人住在他們中間，看見聽見他們不法的事，他的義心就天天傷痛。）
rsv≡彼後≡2≡8≡(for by what that righteous man saw and heard as he lived among them, he was vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds),
cuv≡彼後≡2≡9≡主知道搭救敬虔的人脫離試探，把不義的人留在刑罰之下，等候審判的日子。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡9≡then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment,
cuv≡彼後≡2≡10≡那些隨肉身、縱污穢的情慾、輕慢主治之人的，更是如此。他們膽大任性，毀謗在尊位的，也不知懼怕。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡10≡and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and wilful, they are not afraid to revile the glorious ones,
cuv≡彼後≡2≡11≡就是天使，雖然力量權能更大，還不用毀謗的話在主面前告他們。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡11≡whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a reviling judgment upon them before the Lord.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡12≡但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們毀謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭遇敗壞。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡12≡But these, like irrational animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and killed, reviling in matters of which they are ignorant, will be destroyed in the same destruction with them,
cuv≡彼後≡2≡13≡行的不義，就得了不義的工價。這些人喜愛白晝宴樂，他們已被玷污，又有瑕疵，正與你們一同坐席，就以自己的詭詐為快樂。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡13≡suffering wrong for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their dissipation, carousing with you.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡14≡他們滿眼是淫色（原文是淫婦），止不住犯罪，引誘那心不堅固的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被咒詛的種類。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡14≡They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin. They entice unsteady souls. They have hearts trained in greed. Accursed children!
cuv≡彼後≡2≡15≡他們離棄正路，就走差了，隨從比珥之子巴蘭的路。巴蘭就是那貪愛不義之工價的先知，
rsv≡彼後≡2≡15≡Forsaking the right way they have gone astray; they have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Be'or, who loved gain from wrongdoing,
cuv≡彼後≡2≡16≡他卻為自己的過犯受了責備；那不能說話的驢以人的言攔阻先知的狂妄。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡16≡but was rebuked for his own transgression; a dumb ass spoke with human  voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡17≡這些人是無水的井，是狂風催逼的霧氣，有墨黑的幽暗為他們存留。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡17≡These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm; for them the nether gloom of darkness has been reserved.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡18≡他們說虛妄矜誇的大話，用肉身的情慾和邪淫的事引誘那些剛纔脫離妄行的人。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡18≡For, uttering loud boasts of folly, they entice with licentious passions of the flesh men who have barely escaped from those who live in error.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡19≡他們應許人得以自由，自己卻作敗壞的奴僕，因為人被誰制伏就是誰的奴僕。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡19≡They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption; for whatever overcomes a man, to that he is enslaved.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡20≡倘若他們因認識主救主耶穌基督，得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住、制伏，他們末後的景況就比先前更不好了。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡20≡For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,they are again entangled in them and overpowered, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡21≡他們曉得義路，竟背棄了傳給他們的聖命，倒不如不曉得為妙。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡21≡For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
cuv≡彼後≡2≡22≡俗語說得真不錯：狗所吐的，他轉過來又喫；豬洗淨了又回到泥裡去滾；這話在他們身上正合式。
rsv≡彼後≡2≡22≡It has happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog turns back to his own vomit, and the sow is washed only to wallow in the mire.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡1≡親愛的弟兄啊，我現在寫給你們的是第二封信。這兩封都是提醒你們，激發你們誠實的心，
rsv≡彼後≡3≡1≡This is now the second letter that I have written to you, beloved, and in both of them I have aroused your sincere mindby way of reminder;
cuv≡彼後≡3≡2≡叫你們記念聖先知預先所說的話和主救主的命令，就是使徒所傳給你們的。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡2≡that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡3≡第一要緊的，該知道在末世必有好譏誚的人隨從自己的私慾出來譏誚說：
rsv≡彼後≡3≡3≡First of all you must understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own passions
cuv≡彼後≡3≡4≡「主要降臨的應許在那裡呢？因為從列祖睡了以來，萬物與起初創造的時候仍是一樣。」
rsv≡彼後≡3≡4≡and saying, 'Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.'
cuv≡彼後≡3≡5≡他們故意忘記，從太古，憑神的命有了天，並從水而出、藉水而成的地。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡5≡They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago, and an earth formed out of water and by means of water,
cuv≡彼後≡3≡6≡故此，當時的世界被水淹沒就消滅了。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡6≡through which the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡7≡但現在的天地還是憑著那命存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡7≡But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist have been stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡8≡親愛的弟兄啊，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡8≡But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡9≡主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是耽延，其實不是耽延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡9≡The Lord is not slow about his promise as some count slowness, but is forbearing toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡10≡但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡10≡But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elementswill be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡11≡這一切既然都要如此銷化，你們為人該當怎樣聖潔，怎樣敬虔，
rsv≡彼後≡3≡11≡Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of persons ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
cuv≡彼後≡3≡12≡切切仰望神的日子來到。在那日，天被火燒就銷化了，有形質的都要被烈火鎔化。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡12≡waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be kindled and dissolved, andthe elements will melt with fire!
cuv≡彼後≡3≡13≡但我們照他的應許，盼望新天新地，有義居在其中。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡13≡But according to his promise we wait for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡14≡親愛的弟兄啊，你們既盼望這些事，就當殷勤，使自己沒有玷污，無可指摘，安然見主；
rsv≡彼後≡3≡14≡Therefore, beloved, since you wait for these, be zealous to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡15≡並且要以我主長久忍耐為得救的因由，就如我們所親愛的兄弟保羅，照著所賜給他的智慧寫了信給你們。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡15≡And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
cuv≡彼後≡3≡16≡他一切的信上也都是講論這事。信中有些難明白的，那無學問、不堅固的人強解，如強解別的經書一樣，就自取沉淪。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡16≡speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡17≡親愛的弟兄啊，你們既然預先知道這事，就當防備，恐怕被惡人的錯謬誘惑，就從自己堅固的地步上墜落。
rsv≡彼後≡3≡17≡You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and loseyour own stability.
cuv≡彼後≡3≡18≡你們卻要在我們主救主耶穌基督的恩典和知識上有長進。願榮耀歸給他，從今直到永遠。阿們！
rsv≡彼後≡3≡18≡But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day ofeternity. Amen.
