何西阿書（Hosea）
cuv≡何≡1≡1≡當烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西家作猶大王，約阿施的兒子耶羅波安作以色列王的時候，耶和華的話臨到備利的兒子何西阿。
rsv≡何≡1≡1≡The word of the LORD that came to Hose'a the son of Be-e'ri, in the days of Uzzi'ah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezeki'ah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jerobo'am the son of Jo'ash, king of Israel.
cuv≡何≡1≡2≡耶和華初次與何西阿說話，對他說：「你去娶淫婦為妻，也收那從淫亂所生的兒女；因為這地大行淫亂，離棄耶和華。」
rsv≡何≡1≡2≡When the LORD first spoke through Hose'a, the LORD said to Hose'a, 'Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry, for the land commits great harlotry by forsaking the LORD.'
cuv≡何≡1≡3≡於是，何西阿去娶了滴拉音的女兒歌篾。這婦人懷孕，給他生了一個兒子。
rsv≡何≡1≡3≡So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Dibla'im, and she conceived and bore him a son.
cuv≡何≡1≡4≡耶和華對何西阿說：「給他起名叫耶斯列；因為再過片時，我必討耶戶家在耶斯列殺人流血的罪，也必使以色列家的國滅絕。
rsv≡何≡1≡4≡And the LORD said to him, 'Call his name Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will punish the house of Jehu for the blood of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel.
cuv≡何≡1≡5≡到那日，我必在耶斯列平原折斷以色列的弓。」
rsv≡何≡1≡5≡And on that day, I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.'
cuv≡何≡1≡6≡歌篾又懷孕生了一個女兒，耶和華對何西阿說：「給他起名叫羅路哈瑪（就是不蒙憐憫的意思）；因為我必不再憐憫以色列家，決不赦免他們。
rsv≡何≡1≡6≡She conceived again and bore a daughter. And the LORD said to him, 'Call her name Not pitied, for I will no more have pity on the house of Israel, to forgive them at all.
cuv≡何≡1≡7≡我卻要憐憫猶大家，使他們靠耶和華他們的神得救，不使他們靠弓、刀、爭戰、馬匹，與馬兵得救。」
rsv≡何≡1≡7≡But I will have pity on the house of Judah, and I will deliver them by the LORD their God; I will not deliver them by bow, nor by sword, nor by war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.'
cuv≡何≡1≡8≡歌篾給羅路哈瑪斷奶以後，又懷孕生了一個兒子。
rsv≡何≡1≡8≡When she had weaned Not pitied, she conceived and bore a son.
cuv≡何≡1≡9≡耶和華說：「給他起名叫羅阿米（就是非我民的意思）；因為你們不作我的子民，我也不作你們的神。」
rsv≡何≡1≡9≡And the LORD said, 'Call his name Not my people, for you are not my people and I am not your God.'
cuv≡何≡1≡10≡然而，以色列的人數必如海沙，不可量，不可數。從前在甚麼地方對他們說「你們不是我的子民」，將來在那裡必對他們說「你們是永生神的兒子」。
rsv≡何≡1≡10≡Yet the number of the people of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor numbered; and in the place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' it shall be said to them, 'Sons of the living God.'
cuv≡何≡1≡11≡猶大人和以色列人必一同聚集，為自己立一個首領，從這地上去（或作：從被擄之地上來），因為耶斯列的日子必為大日。
rsv≡何≡1≡11≡And the people of Judah and the people of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint for themselves one head; and they shall go up from the land, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.
cuv≡何≡2≡1≡你們要稱你們的弟兄為阿米（就是我民的意思），稱你們的姊妹為路哈瑪（就是蒙憐憫的意思）。
rsv≡何≡2≡1≡Say to your brother, 'My people,' and to your sister, 'She has obtained pity.'
cuv≡何≡2≡2≡你們要與你們的母親大大爭辯；因為他不是我的妻子，我也不是他的丈夫。叫他除掉臉上的淫像和胸間的淫態，
rsv≡何≡2≡2≡'Plead with your mother, plead -- for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband -- that she put away her harlotry from her face, and her adultery from between her breasts;
cuv≡何≡2≡3≡免得我剝他的衣服，使他赤體，與纔生的時候一樣，使他如曠野，如乾旱之地，因渴而死。
rsv≡何≡2≡3≡lest I strip her naked and make her as in the day she was born, and make her like a wilderness, and set her like a parched land, and slay her with thirst.
cuv≡何≡2≡4≡我必不憐憫他的兒女，因為他們是從淫亂而生的。
rsv≡何≡2≡4≡Upon her children also I will have no pity, because they are children of harlotry.
cuv≡何≡2≡5≡他們的母親行了淫亂，懷他們的母作了可羞恥的事，因為他說：我要隨從所愛的；我的餅、水、羊毛、麻、油、酒都是他們給的。
rsv≡何≡2≡5≡For their mother has played the harlot; she that conceived them has acted shamefully. For she said, I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.'
cuv≡何≡2≡6≡因此，我必用荊棘堵塞他的道，築牆擋住他，使他找不著路。
rsv≡何≡2≡6≡Therefore I will hedge up her way with thorns; and I will build a wall against her, so that she cannot find her paths.
cuv≡何≡2≡7≡他必追隨所愛的，卻追不上；他必尋找他們，卻尋不見，便說：我要歸回前夫，因我那時的光景比如今還好。
rsv≡何≡2≡7≡She shall pursue her lovers, but not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them. Then she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband, for it was better with me then than now.'
cuv≡何≡2≡8≡他不知道是我給他五榖、新酒，和油，又加增他的金銀；他卻以此供奉（或作：製造）巴力。
rsv≡何≡2≡8≡And she did not know that it was I who gave her the grain, the wine, and the oil, and who lavished upon her silver and gold which they used for Ba'al.
cuv≡何≡2≡9≡因此到了收割的日子，出酒的時候，我必將我的五榖新酒收回，也必將他應當遮體的羊毛和麻奪回來。
rsv≡何≡2≡9≡Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my wine in its season; and I will take away my wool and my flax, which were to cover her nakedness.
cuv≡何≡2≡10≡如今我必在他所愛的眼前顯露他的醜態；必無人能救他脫離我的手。
rsv≡何≡2≡10≡Now I will uncover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and no one shall rescue her out of my hand.
cuv≡何≡2≡11≡我也必使他的宴樂、節期、月朔、安息日，並他的一切大會都止息了。
rsv≡何≡2≡11≡And I will put an end to all her mirth, her feasts, her new moons, her sabbaths, and all her appointed feasts.
cuv≡何≡2≡12≡我也必毀壞他的葡萄樹和無花果樹，就是他說「這是我所愛的給我為賞賜」的。我必使這些樹變為荒林，為田野的走獸所喫。
rsv≡何≡2≡12≡And I will lay waste her vines and her fig trees, of which she said, These are my hire, which my lovers have given me.' I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall devour them.
cuv≡何≡2≡13≡我必追討他素日給諸巴力燒香的罪；那時他佩帶耳環和別樣妝飾，隨從他所愛的，卻忘記我。這是耶和華說的。
rsv≡何≡2≡13≡And I will punish her for the feast days of the Ba'als when she burned incense to them and decked herself with her ring and jewelry, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, says the LORD.
cuv≡何≡2≡14≡後來我必勸導他，領他到曠野，對他說安慰的話。
rsv≡何≡2≡14≡'Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her.
cuv≡何≡2≡15≡他從那裡出來，我必賜他葡萄園，又賜他亞割谷作為指望的門。他必在那裡應聲（或作：歌唱），與幼年的日子一樣，與從埃及地上來的時候相同。
rsv≡何≡2≡15≡And there I will give her her vineyards, and make the Valley of Achor a door of hope. And there she shall answer as in the days of her youth, as at the time when she came out of the land of Egypt.
cuv≡何≡2≡16≡耶和華說：「那日你必稱呼我伊施（就是我夫的意思），不再稱呼我巴力（就是我主的意思）；
rsv≡何≡2≡16≡'And in that day, says the LORD, you will call me, My husband,' and no longer will you call me, My Ba'al.'
cuv≡何≡2≡17≡因為我必從我民的口中除掉諸巴力的名號，這名號不再提起。
rsv≡何≡2≡17≡For I will remove the names of the Ba'als from her mouth, and they shall be mentioned by name no more.
cuv≡何≡2≡18≡當那日，我必為我的民，與田野的走獸和空中的飛鳥，並地上的昆蟲立約；又必在國中折斷弓刀，止息爭戰，使他們安然躺臥。
rsv≡何≡2≡18≡And I will make for you a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the creeping things of the ground; and I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land;and I will make you lie down in safety.
cuv≡何≡2≡19≡我必聘你永遠歸我為妻，以仁義、公平、慈愛、憐憫聘你歸我；
rsv≡何≡2≡19≡And I will betroth you to me for ever; I will betroth you to me in righteousness and in justice, in steadfast love, and in mercy.
cuv≡何≡2≡20≡也以誠實聘你歸我，你就必認識我耶和華。
rsv≡何≡2≡20≡I will betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know the LORD.
cuv≡何≡2≡21≡耶和華說：那日我必應允，我必應允天，天必應允地；
rsv≡何≡2≡21≡'And in that day, says the LORD, I will answer the heavens and they shall answer the earth;
cuv≡何≡2≡22≡地必應允五榖、新酒，和油，這些必應允耶斯列民（耶斯列就是神栽種的意思）。
rsv≡何≡2≡22≡and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jezreel;
cuv≡何≡2≡23≡我必將他種在這地。素不蒙憐憫的，我必憐憫；本非我民的，我必對他說：你是我的民；他必說：你是我的神。」
rsv≡何≡2≡23≡and I will sow him for myself in the land. And I will have pity onNot pitied, and I will say to Not my people, You are my people'; and he shall say Thou art my God.''
cuv≡何≡3≡1≡耶和華對我說：「你再去愛一個淫婦，就是他情人所愛的；好像以色列人，雖然偏向別神，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華還是愛他們。」
rsv≡何≡3≡1≡And the LORD said to me, 'Go again, love a woman who is beloved of a paramour and is an adulteress; even as the LORD loves the people of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love cakes of raisins.'
cuv≡何≡3≡2≡我便用銀子十五舍客勒，大麥一賀梅珥半，買他歸我。
rsv≡何≡3≡2≡So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.
cuv≡何≡3≡3≡我對他說：「你當多日為我獨居，不可行淫，不可歸別人為妻，我向你也必這樣。」
rsv≡何≡3≡3≡And I said to her, 'You must dwell as mine for many days; you shall not play the harlot, or belong to another man;so will I also be to you.'
cuv≡何≡3≡4≡以色列人也必多日獨居，無君王，無首領，無祭祀，無柱像，無以弗得，無家中的神像。
rsv≡何≡3≡4≡For the children of Israel shall dwell many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or pillar, without ephod or teraphim.
cuv≡何≡3≡5≡後來以色列人必歸回（或作：回心轉意），尋求他們的神耶和華和他們的王大衛。在末後的日子，必以敬畏的心歸向耶和華，領受他的恩惠。
rsv≡何≡3≡5≡Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and they shall come in fear to the LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.
cuv≡何≡4≡1≡以色列人哪，你們當聽耶和華的話。耶和華與這地的居民爭辯，因這地上無誠實，無良善，無人認識神。
rsv≡何≡4≡1≡Hear the word of the LORD, O people of Israel; for the LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or kindness, and no knowledge of God in the land;
cuv≡何≡4≡2≡但起假誓，不踐前言，殺害，偷盜，姦淫，行強暴，殺人流血，接連不斷。
rsv≡何≡4≡2≡there is swearing, lying, killing, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds and murder follows murder.
cuv≡何≡4≡3≡因此，這地悲哀，其上的民、田野的獸、空中的鳥必都衰微，海中的魚也必消滅。
rsv≡何≡4≡3≡Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it languish, and also the beasts of the field, and the birds of the air; and even the fish of the sea are taken away.
cuv≡何≡4≡4≡然而，人都不必爭辯，也不必指責，因為這民與抗拒祭司的人一樣。
rsv≡何≡4≡4≡Yet let no one contend, and let none accuse, for with you is my contention, O priest.
cuv≡何≡4≡5≡你這祭司必日間跌倒；先知也必夜間與你一同跌倒；我必滅絕你的母親。
rsv≡何≡4≡5≡You shall stumble by day, the prophet also shall stumble with you by night; and I will destroy your mother.
cuv≡何≡4≡6≡我的民因無知識而滅亡。你棄掉知識，我也必棄掉你，使你不再給我作祭司。你既忘了你神的律法，我也必忘記你的兒女。
rsv≡何≡4≡6≡My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
cuv≡何≡4≡7≡祭司越發增多，就越發得罪我；我必使他們的榮耀變為羞辱。
rsv≡何≡4≡7≡The more they increased, the more they sinned against me; I will change their glory into shame.
cuv≡何≡4≡8≡他們喫我民的贖罪祭，滿心願意我民犯罪。
rsv≡何≡4≡8≡They feed on the sin of my people; they are greedy for their iniquity.
cuv≡何≡4≡9≡將來民如何，祭司也必如何；我必因他們所行的懲罰他們，照他們所作的報應他們。
rsv≡何≡4≡9≡And it shall be like people, like priest; I will punish them for their ways, and requite them for their deeds.
cuv≡何≡4≡10≡他們喫，卻不得飽；行淫，而不得立後；因為他們離棄耶和華，不遵他的命。
rsv≡何≡4≡10≡They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the harlot, but not multiply;because they have forsaken the LORD to cherish harlotry.
cuv≡何≡4≡11≡姦淫和酒，並新酒，奪去人的心。
rsv≡何≡4≡11≡Wine and new wine take away the understanding.
cuv≡何≡4≡12≡我的民求問木偶，以為木杖能指示他們；因為他們的淫心使他們失迷，他們就行淫離棄神，不守約束，
rsv≡何≡4≡12≡My people inquire of a thing of wood, and their staff gives them oracles. For a spirit of harlotry has led them astray, and they have left their God to play the harlot.
cuv≡何≡4≡13≡在各山頂，各高岡的橡樹、楊樹、栗樹之下，獻祭燒香，因為樹影美好。所以，你們的女兒淫亂，你們的新婦（或作：兒婦；下同）行淫。
rsv≡何≡4≡13≡They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains, and make offerings upon the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is good. Therefore your daughters play the harlot, and your brides commit adultery.
cuv≡何≡4≡14≡你們的女兒淫亂，你們的新婦行淫，我卻不懲罰他們；因為你們自己離群與娼妓同居，與妓女一同獻祭。這無知的民必致傾倒。
rsv≡何≡4≡14≡I will not punish your daughters
when they play the harlot, nor your brides when
they commit adultery; for the men themselves go
aside with harlots, and sacrifice with cult
prostitutes, and a people without understanding
shall come to ruin.
cuv≡何≡4≡15≡以色列啊，你雖然行淫，猶大卻不可犯罪。不要往吉甲去，不要上到伯亞文，也不要指著永生的耶和華起誓。
rsv≡何≡4≡15≡Though you play the harlot, O Israel, let not Judah become guilty. Enter not into Gilgal, nor go up to Beth-a'ven, and swear not, 'As the LORD lives.'
cuv≡何≡4≡16≡以色列倔強，猶如倔強的母牛；現在耶和華要放他們，如同放羊羔在寬闊之地。
rsv≡何≡4≡16≡Like a stubborn heifer, Israel is stubborn; can the LORD now feed them like a lamb in a broad pasture?
cuv≡何≡4≡17≡以法蓮親近偶像，任憑他吧！
rsv≡何≡4≡17≡E'phraim is joined to idols, let him alone.
cuv≡何≡4≡18≡他們所喝的已經發酸，他們時常行淫，他們的官長最愛羞恥的事。
rsv≡何≡4≡18≡A band of drunkards, they give themselves to harlotry; they love shame more than their glory.
cuv≡何≡4≡19≡風把他們裹在翅膀裡；他們因所獻的祭必致蒙羞。
rsv≡何≡4≡19≡A wind has wrapped them in its wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their altars.
cuv≡何≡5≡1≡眾祭司啊，要聽我的話！以色列家啊，要留心聽！王家啊，要側耳而聽！審判要臨到你們，因你們在米斯巴如網羅，在他泊山如鋪張的網。
rsv≡何≡5≡1≡Hear this, O priests! Give heed, O house of Israel! Hearken, O house of the king! For the judgment pertains to you; for you have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
cuv≡何≡5≡2≡這些悖逆的人肆行殺戮，罪孽極深；我卻斥責他們眾人。
rsv≡何≡5≡2≡And they have made deep the pit of Shittim; but I will chastise all of them.
cuv≡何≡5≡3≡以法蓮為我所知；以色列不能向我隱藏。以法蓮哪，現在你行淫了，以色列被玷污了。
rsv≡何≡5≡3≡I know E'phraim, and Israel is not hid from me; for now, O E'phraim, you have played the harlot, Israel is defiled.
cuv≡何≡5≡4≡他們所行的使他們不能歸向神；因有淫心在他們裡面，他們也不認識耶和華。
rsv≡何≡5≡4≡Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. For the spirit of harlotry is within them, and they know not the LORD.
cuv≡何≡5≡5≡以色列的驕傲當面見證自己。故此，以色列和以法蓮必因自己的罪孽跌倒；猶大也必與他們一同跌倒。
rsv≡何≡5≡5≡The pride of Israel testifies to his face; E'phraim shall stumble in his guilt;Judah also shall stumble with them.
cuv≡何≡5≡6≡他們必牽著牛羊去尋求耶和華，卻尋不見；他已經轉去離開他們。
rsv≡何≡5≡6≡With their flocks and herds they shall go to seek the LORD, but they will not find him; he has withdrawn from them.
cuv≡何≡5≡7≡他們向耶和華行事詭詐，生了私子。到了月朔，他們與他們的地業必被吞滅。
rsv≡何≡5≡7≡They have dealt faithlessly with the LORD; for they have borne alien children. Now the new moon shall devour them with their fields.
cuv≡何≡5≡8≡你們當在基比亞吹角，在拉瑪吹號，在伯亞文吹出大聲，說：便雅憫哪，有仇敵在你後頭！
rsv≡何≡5≡8≡Blow the horn in Gib'e-ah, the trumpet in Ramah. Sound the alarm at Beth-a'ven; tremble, O Benjamin!
cuv≡何≡5≡9≡在責罰的日子，以法蓮必變為荒場；我在以色列支派中，指示將來必成的事。
rsv≡何≡5≡9≡E'phraim shall become a desolation in the day of punishment; among the tribes of Israel I declare what is sure.
cuv≡何≡5≡10≡猶大的首領如同挪移地界的人，我必將忿怒倒在他們身上，如水一般。
rsv≡何≡5≡10≡The princes of Judah have become like those who remove the landmark; upon them I will pour out my wrath like water.
cuv≡何≡5≡11≡以法蓮因樂從人的命令，就受欺壓，被審判壓碎。
rsv≡何≡5≡11≡E'phraim is oppressed, crushed in judgment, because he was determined to go after vanity.
cuv≡何≡5≡12≡我使以法蓮如蟲蛀之物，使猶大家如朽爛之木。
rsv≡何≡5≡12≡Therefore I am like a moth to E'phraim, and like dry rot to the house of Judah.
cuv≡何≡5≡13≡以法蓮見自己有病，猶大見自己有傷，他們就打發人往亞述去見耶雷布王，他卻不能醫治你們，不能治好你們的傷。
rsv≡何≡5≡13≡When E'phraim saw his sickness, and Judah his wound, then E'phraim went to Assyria, and sent to the great king. But he is not able to cure you or heal your wound.
cuv≡何≡5≡14≡我必向以法蓮如獅子，向猶大家如少壯獅子。我必撕裂而去，我要奪去，無人搭救。
rsv≡何≡5≡14≡For I will be like a lion to E'phraim, and like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will rend and go away, I will carry off, and none shall rescue.
cuv≡何≡5≡15≡我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪（或作：承認己罪），尋求我面；他們在急難的時候必切切尋求我。
rsv≡何≡5≡15≡I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face, and in their distress they seek me, saying,
cuv≡何≡6≡1≡來吧，我們歸向耶和華！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；他打傷我們，也必纏裹。
rsv≡何≡6≡1≡'Come, let us return to the LORD; for he has torn, that he may heal us;he has stricken, and he will bind us up.
cuv≡何≡6≡2≡過兩天他必使我們甦醒，第三天他必使我們興起，我們就在他面前得以存活。
rsv≡何≡6≡2≡After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.
cuv≡何≡6≡3≡我們務要認識耶和華，竭力追求認識他。他出現確如晨光；他必臨到我們像甘雨，像滋潤田地的春雨。
rsv≡何≡6≡3≡Let us know, let us press on to know the LORD; his going forth is sure as the dawn;he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.'
cuv≡何≡6≡4≡主說：以法蓮哪，我可向你怎樣行呢？猶大啊，我可向你怎樣作呢？因為你們的良善如同早晨的雲霧，又如速散的甘露。
rsv≡何≡6≡4≡What shall I do with you, O E'phraim? What shall I do with you, O Judah? Your love is like a morning cloud, like the dew that goes early away.
cuv≡何≡6≡5≡因此，我藉先知砍伐他們，以我口中的話殺戮他們；我施行的審判如光發出。
rsv≡何≡6≡5≡Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets, I have slain them by the words of my mouth, and my judgment goes forth as the light.
cuv≡何≡6≡6≡我喜愛良善（或作：憐恤），不喜愛祭祀；喜愛認識神，勝於燔祭。
rsv≡何≡6≡6≡For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God, rather than burnt offerings.
cuv≡何≡6≡7≡他們卻如亞當背約，在境內向我行事詭詐。
rsv≡何≡6≡7≡But at Adam they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt faithlessly with me.
cuv≡何≡6≡8≡基列是作孽之人的城，被血沾染。
rsv≡何≡6≡8≡Gilead is a city of evildoers, tracked with blood.
cuv≡何≡6≡9≡強盜成群，怎樣埋伏殺人，祭司結黨，也照樣在示劍的路上殺戮，行了邪惡。
rsv≡何≡6≡9≡As robbers lie in wait for a man, so the priests are banded together; they murder on the way to Shechem, yea, they commit villainy.
cuv≡何≡6≡10≡在以色列家，我見了可憎的事；在以法蓮那裡有淫行，以色列被玷污。
rsv≡何≡6≡10≡In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing; E'phraim's harlotry is there, Israel is defiled.
cuv≡何≡6≡11≡猶大啊，我使被擄之民歸回的時候，必有為你所命定的收場。
rsv≡何≡6≡11≡For you also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed. When I would restore the fortunes of my people,

rsv≡何≡7≡1≡when I would heal Israel, the corruption of E'phraim is revealed, and the wicked deeds of Sama'ria; for they deal falsely, the thief breaks in, and the bandits raid without.
cuv≡何≡7≡2≡他們心裡並不思想我記念他們的一切惡；他們所行的現在纏繞他們，都在我面前。
rsv≡何≡7≡2≡But they do not consider that I remember all their evil works. Now their deeds encompass them, they are before my face.
cuv≡何≡7≡3≡他們行惡使君王歡喜，說謊使首領喜樂。
rsv≡何≡7≡3≡By their wickedness they make the king glad, and the princes by their treachery.
cuv≡何≡7≡4≡他們都是行淫的，像火爐被烤餅的燒熱，從摶麵到發麵的時候，暫不使火著旺。
rsv≡何≡7≡4≡They are all adulterers; they are like a heated oven, whose baker ceases to stir the fire, from the kneading of the dough until it is leavened.
cuv≡何≡7≡5≡在我們王宴樂的日子，首領因酒的烈性成病；王與褻慢人拉手。
rsv≡何≡7≡5≡On the day of our king the princes became sick with the heat of wine; he stretched out his hand with mockers.
cuv≡何≡7≡6≡首領埋伏的時候，心中熱如火爐，就如烤餅的整夜睡臥，到了早晨火氣炎炎。
rsv≡何≡7≡6≡For like an oven their hearts burn with intrigue; all night their anger smolders;in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
cuv≡何≡7≡7≡眾民也熱如火爐，燒滅他們的官長。他們的君王都仆倒而死；他們中間無一人求告我。
rsv≡何≡7≡7≡All of them are hot as an oven, and they devour their rulers. All their kings have fallen; and none of them calls upon me.
cuv≡何≡7≡8≡以法蓮與列邦人攙雜；以法蓮是沒有翻過的餅。
rsv≡何≡7≡8≡E'phraim mixes himself with the peoples; E'phraim is a cake not turned.
cuv≡何≡7≡9≡外邦人吞喫他勞力得來的，他卻不知道；頭髮斑白，他也不覺得。
rsv≡何≡7≡9≡Aliens devour his strength, and he knows it not; gray hairs are sprinkled upon him, and he knows it not.
cuv≡何≡7≡10≡以色列的驕傲當面見證自己，雖遭遇這一切，他們仍不歸向耶和華他們的神，也不尋求他。
rsv≡何≡7≡10≡The pride of Israel witnesses against him; yet they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him, for all this.
cuv≡何≡7≡11≡以法蓮好像鴿子愚蠢無知；他們求告埃及，投奔亞述。
rsv≡何≡7≡11≡E'phraim is like a dove, silly and without sense, calling to Egypt, going to Assyria.
cuv≡何≡7≡12≡他們去的時候，我必將我的網撒在他們身上；我要打下他們，如同空中的鳥。我必按他們會眾所聽見的懲罰他們。
rsv≡何≡7≡12≡As they go, I will spread over them my net; I will bring them down like birds of the air;I will chastise them for their wicked deeds.
cuv≡何≡7≡13≡他們因離棄我，必定有禍；因違背我，必被毀滅。我雖要救贖他們，他們卻向我說謊。
rsv≡何≡7≡13≡Woe to them, for they have strayed from me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against me.
cuv≡何≡7≡14≡他們並不誠心哀求我，乃在床上呼號；他們為求五榖新酒聚集，仍然悖逆我。
rsv≡何≡7≡14≡They do not cry to me from the heart, but they wail upon their beds; for grain and wine they gash themselves, they rebel against me.
cuv≡何≡7≡15≡我雖教導他們，堅固他們的膀臂，他們竟圖謀抗拒我。
rsv≡何≡7≡15≡Although I trained and strengthened their arms, yet they devise evil against me.
cuv≡何≡7≡16≡他們歸向，卻不歸向至上者；他們如同翻背的弓。他們的首領必因舌頭的狂傲倒在刀下；這在埃及地必作人的譏笑。
rsv≡何≡7≡16≡They turn to Ba'al; they are like a treacherous bow, their princes shall fall by the sword because of the insolence of their tongue. This shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
cuv≡何≡8≡1≡你用口吹角吧！敵人如鷹來攻打耶和華的家；因為這民違背我的約，干犯我的律法。
rsv≡何≡8≡1≡Set the trumpet to your lips, for a vulture is over the house of the LORD, because they have broken my covenant, and transgressed my law.
cuv≡何≡8≡2≡他們必呼叫我說：我的神啊，我們以色列認識你了。
rsv≡何≡8≡2≡To me they cry, My God, we Israel know thee.
cuv≡何≡8≡3≡以色列丟棄良善（或作：福分）；仇敵必追逼他。
rsv≡何≡8≡3≡Israel has spurned the good; the enemy shall pursue him.
cuv≡何≡8≡4≡他們立君王，卻不由我；他們立首領，我卻不認。他們用金銀為自己製造偶像，以致被剪除。
rsv≡何≡8≡4≡They made kings, but not through me. They set up princes, but without my knowledge. With their silver and gold they made idols for their own destruction.
cuv≡何≡8≡5≡撒瑪利亞啊，耶和華已經丟棄你的牛犢；我的怒氣向拜牛犢的人發作。他們到幾時方能無罪呢？
rsv≡何≡8≡5≡I have spurned your calf, O Sama'ria. My anger burns against them. How long will it be till they are pure
cuv≡何≡8≡6≡這牛犢出於以色列，是匠人所造的，並不是神。撒瑪利亞的牛犢必被打碎。
rsv≡何≡8≡6≡in Israel? A workman made it; it is not God. The calf of Sama'ria shall be broken to pieces.
cuv≡何≡8≡7≡他們所種的是風，所收的是暴風；所種的不成禾稼，就是發苗也不結實；即便結實，外邦人必吞喫。
rsv≡何≡8≡7≡For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads, it shall yield no meal; if it were to yield, aliens would devour it.
cuv≡何≡8≡8≡以色列被吞喫；現今在列國中，好像人不喜悅的器皿。
rsv≡何≡8≡8≡Israel is swallowed up; already they are among the nations as a useless vessel.
cuv≡何≡8≡9≡他們投奔亞述，如同獨行的野驢；以法蓮賄買朋黨。
rsv≡何≡8≡9≡For they have gone up to Assyria, a wild ass wandering alone; E'phraim has hired lovers.
cuv≡何≡8≡10≡他們雖在列邦中賄買人，現在我卻要聚集懲罰他們；他們因君王和首領所加的重擔日漸衰微。
rsv≡何≡8≡10≡Though they hire allies among the nations, I will soon gather them up. And they shall cease for a little while from anointing king and princes.
cuv≡何≡8≡11≡以法蓮增添祭壇取罪；因此，祭壇使他犯罪。
rsv≡何≡8≡11≡Because E'phraim has multiplied altars for sinning, they have become to him altars for sinning.
cuv≡何≡8≡12≡我為他寫了律法萬條，他卻以為與他毫無關涉。
rsv≡何≡8≡12≡Were I to write for him my laws by ten thousands, they would be regarded as a strange thing.
cuv≡何≡8≡13≡至於獻給我的祭物，他們自食其肉，耶和華卻不悅納他們。現在必記念他們的罪孽，追討他們的罪惡；他們必歸回埃及。
rsv≡何≡8≡13≡They love sacrifice; they sacrifice flesh and eat it;but the LORDhas no delight in them. Now he will remember their iniquity, and punish their sins;they shall return to Egypt.
cuv≡何≡8≡14≡以色列忘記造他的主，建造宮殿；猶大多造堅固城，我卻要降火焚燒他的城邑，燒滅其中的宮殿。
rsv≡何≡8≡14≡For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and built palaces; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities;but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour his strongholds.
cuv≡何≡9≡1≡以色列啊，不要像外邦人歡喜快樂；因為你行邪淫離棄你的神，在各榖場上如妓女喜愛賞賜。
rsv≡何≡9≡1≡Rejoice not, O Israel! Exult not like the peoples; for you have played the harlot, forsaking your God. You have loved a harlot's hire upon all threshing floors.
cuv≡何≡9≡2≡榖場和酒醡都不彀以色列人使用；新酒也必缺乏。
rsv≡何≡9≡2≡Threshing floor and winevat shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail them.
cuv≡何≡9≡3≡他們必不得住耶和華的地；以法蓮卻要歸回埃及，必在亞述喫不潔淨的食物。
rsv≡何≡9≡3≡They shall not remain in the land of the LORD; but E'phraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.
cuv≡何≡9≡4≡他們必不得向耶和華奠酒，即便奠酒也不蒙悅納。他們的祭物必如居喪者的食物，凡喫的必被玷污；因他們的食物只為自己的口腹，必不奉入耶和華的殿。
rsv≡何≡9≡4≡They shall not pour libations of
wine to the LORD; and they shall not please him
with their sacrifices. Their bread shall be like
mourners' bread;all who eat of it shall be
defiled;for their bread shall be for their hunger
only;it shall not
cuv≡何≡9≡5≡在大會的日子，到耶和華的節期，你們怎樣行呢？
rsv≡何≡9≡5≡What will you do on the day of appointed festival, and on the day of the feast of the LORD?
cuv≡何≡9≡6≡看哪，他們逃避災難；埃及人必收殮他們的屍首，摩弗人必葬埋他們的骸骨。他們用銀子作的美物上必長蒺藜；他們的帳棚中必生荊棘。
rsv≡何≡9≡6≡For behold, they are going to Assyria; Egypt shall gather them, Memphis shall bury them. Nettles shall possess their precious things of silver;thorns shall be in their tents.
cuv≡何≡9≡7≡以色列人必知道降罰的日子臨近，報應的時候來到。民說：作先知的是愚昧；受靈感的是狂妄，皆因他們多多作孽，大懷怨恨。
rsv≡何≡9≡7≡The days of punishment have come, the days of recompense have come; Israel shall know it. The prophet is a fool, the man of the spirit is mad, because of your great iniquity and great hatred.
cuv≡何≡9≡8≡以法蓮曾作我神守望的；至於先知，在他一切的道上作為捕鳥人的網羅，在他神的家中懷怨恨。
rsv≡何≡9≡8≡The prophet is the watchman of E'phraim, the people of my God, yet a fowler's snare is on all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.
cuv≡何≡9≡9≡以法蓮深深的敗壞，如在基比亞的日子一樣。耶和華必記念他們的罪孽，追討他們的罪惡。
rsv≡何≡9≡9≡They have deeply corrupted themselves as in the days of Gib'e-ah: he will remember their iniquity, he will punish their sins.
cuv≡何≡9≡10≡主說：我遇見以色列如葡萄在曠野；我看見你們的列祖如無花果樹上春季初熟的果子。他們卻來到巴力•毗珥專拜那可羞恥的，就成為可憎惡的，與他們所愛的一樣。
rsv≡何≡9≡10≡Like grapes in the wilderness, I
found Israel. Like the first fruit on the fig
tree, in its first season, I saw your fathers. But
they came to Ba'al-pe'or, and consecrated
themselves to Ba'al, and became detestable like
the thing they loved.
cuv≡何≡9≡11≡至於以法蓮人，他們的榮耀必如鳥飛去，必不生產，不懷胎，不成孕。
rsv≡何≡9≡11≡E'phraim's glory shall fly away like a bird -- no birth, no pregnancy, no conception!
cuv≡何≡9≡12≡縱然養大兒女，我卻必使他們喪子，甚至不留一個。我離棄他們，他們就有禍了。
rsv≡何≡9≡12≡Even if they bring up children, I will bereave them till none is left. Woe to them when I depart from them!
cuv≡何≡9≡13≡我看以法蓮如推羅栽於美地。以法蓮卻要將自己的兒女帶出來，交與行殺戮的人。
rsv≡何≡9≡13≡E'phraim's sons, as I have seen, are destined for a prey; E'phraim must lead forth his sons to slaughter.
cuv≡何≡9≡14≡耶和華啊，求你加給他們，加甚麼呢？要使他們胎墜乳乾。
rsv≡何≡9≡14≡Give them, O LORD -- what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
cuv≡何≡9≡15≡耶和華說：他們一切的惡事都在吉甲；我在那裡憎惡他們。因他們所行的惡，我必從我地上趕出他們去，不再憐愛他們；他們的首領都是悖逆的。
rsv≡何≡9≡15≡Every evil of theirs is in Gilgal; there I began to hate them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house. I will love them no more;all their princes are rebels.
cuv≡何≡9≡16≡以法蓮受責罰，根本枯乾，必不能結果，即或生產，我必殺他們所生的愛子。
rsv≡何≡9≡16≡E'phraim is stricken, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit. Even though they bring forth, I will slay their beloved children.
cuv≡何≡9≡17≡我的神必棄絕他們，因為他們不聽從他；他們也必飄流在列國中。
rsv≡何≡9≡17≡My God will cast them off, because they have not hearkened to him; they shall be wanderers among the nations.
cuv≡何≡10≡1≡以色列是茂盛的葡萄樹，結果繁多。果子越多，就越增添祭壇；地土越肥美，就越造美麗的柱像。
rsv≡何≡10≡1≡Israel is a luxuriant vine that yields its fruit. The more his fruit increased the more altars he built; as his country improved he improved his pillars.
cuv≡何≡10≡2≡他們心懷二意，現今要定為有罪。耶和華必拆毀他們的祭壇，毀壞他們的柱像。
rsv≡何≡10≡2≡Their heart is false; now they must bear their guilt. The LORD will break down their altars, and destroy their pillars.
cuv≡何≡10≡3≡他們必說：我們沒有王，因為我們不敬畏耶和華。王能為我們作甚麼呢？
rsv≡何≡10≡3≡For now they will say: 'We have no king, for we fear not the LORD, and a king, what could he do for us?'
cuv≡何≡10≡4≡他們為立約說謊言，起假誓；因此，災罰如苦菜滋生在田間的犁溝中。
rsv≡何≡10≡4≡They utter mere words; with empty oaths they make covenants;so judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.
cuv≡何≡10≡5≡撒瑪利亞的居民必因伯亞文的牛犢驚恐；崇拜牛犢的民和喜愛牛犢的祭司都必因榮耀離開他，為他悲哀。
rsv≡何≡10≡5≡The inhabitants of Sama'ria tremble for the calf of Beth-a'ven. Its people shall mourn for it, and its idolatrous priests shall wail over it, over its glory which has departed from it.
cuv≡何≡10≡6≡人必將牛犢帶到亞述當作禮物，獻給耶雷布王。以法蓮必蒙羞；以色列必因自己的計謀慚愧。
rsv≡何≡10≡6≡Yea, the thing itself shall be carried to Assyria, as tribute to the great king. E'phraim shall be put to shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his idol.
cuv≡何≡10≡7≡至於撒瑪利亞，他的王必滅沒，如水面的沫子一樣。
rsv≡何≡10≡7≡Sama'ria's king shall perish, like a chip on the face of the waters.
cuv≡何≡10≡8≡伯亞文的邱壇，就是以色列取罪的地方必被毀滅；荊棘和蒺藜必長在他們的祭壇上。他們必對大山說：遮蓋我們！對小山說：倒在我們身上！
rsv≡何≡10≡8≡The high places of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed. Thorn and thistle shall grow up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us, and to the hills, Fall upon us.
cuv≡何≡10≡9≡以色列啊，你從基比亞的日子以來時常犯罪。你們的先人曾站在那裡，現今住基比亞的人以為攻擊罪孽之輩的戰事臨不到自己。
rsv≡何≡10≡9≡From the days of Gib'e-ah, you have sinned, O Israel; there they have continued. Shall not war overtake them in Gib'e-ah?
cuv≡何≡10≡10≡我必隨意懲罰他們。他們為兩樣的罪所纏；列邦的民必聚集攻擊他們。
rsv≡何≡10≡10≡I will come against the wayward people to chastise them; and nations shall be gathered against them when they are chastised for their double iniquity.
cuv≡何≡10≡11≡以法蓮是馴良的母牛犢，喜愛踹榖，我卻將軛加在他肥美的頸項上，我要使以法蓮拉套（或作：被騎）。猶大必耕田；雅各必耙地。
rsv≡何≡10≡11≡E'phraim was a trained heifer that loved to thresh, and I spared her fair neck; but I will put E'phraim to the yoke, Judah must plow, Jacob must harrow for himself.
cuv≡何≡10≡12≡你們要為自己栽種公義，就能收割慈愛。現今正是尋求耶和華的時候；你們要開墾荒地，等他臨到，使公義如雨降在你們身上。
rsv≡何≡10≡12≡Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and rain salvation upon you.
cuv≡何≡10≡13≡你們耕種的是奸惡，收割的是罪孽，喫的是謊話的果子。因你倚靠自己的行為，仰賴勇士眾多，
rsv≡何≡10≡13≡You have plowed iniquity, you have reaped injustice, you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your chariots and in the multitude of your warriors,
cuv≡何≡10≡14≡所以在這民中必有鬨嚷之聲，你一切的保障必被拆毀，就如沙勒幔在爭戰的日子拆毀伯亞比勒，將其中的母子一同摔死。
rsv≡何≡10≡14≡therefore the tumult of war shall arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be destroyed, as Shalman destroyed Beth-ar'bel on the day of battle; mothers were dashed in pieces with their children.
cuv≡何≡10≡15≡因他們的大惡，伯特利必使你們遭遇如此。到了黎明，以色列的王必全然滅絕。
rsv≡何≡10≡15≡Thus it shall be done to you, O house of Israel, because of your great wickedness. In the storm the king of Israel shall be utterly cut off.
cuv≡何≡11≡1≡以色列年幼的時候，我愛他，就從埃及召出我的兒子來。
rsv≡何≡11≡1≡When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
cuv≡何≡11≡2≡先知越發招呼他們，他們越發走開，向諸巴力獻祭，給雕刻的偶像燒香。
rsv≡何≡11≡2≡The more I called them, the more they went from me; they kept sacrificing to the Ba'als, and burning incense to idols.
cuv≡何≡11≡3≡我原教導以法蓮行走，用膀臂抱著他們，他們卻不知道是我醫治他們。
rsv≡何≡11≡3≡Yet it was I who taught E'phraim to walk, I took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them.
cuv≡何≡11≡4≡我用慈繩（慈：原文是人的）愛索牽引他們；我待他們如人放鬆牛的兩腮夾板，把糧食放在他們面前。
rsv≡何≡11≡4≡I led them with cords of compassion, with the bands of love, and I became to them as one, who eases the yoke on their jaws, and I bent down to them and fed them.
cuv≡何≡11≡5≡他們必不歸回埃及地，亞述人卻要作他們的王，因他們不肯歸向我。
rsv≡何≡11≡5≡They shall return to the land of Egypt, and Assyria shall be their king, because they have refused to return to me.
cuv≡何≡11≡6≡刀劍必臨到他們的城邑，毀壞門閂，把人吞滅，都因他們隨從自己的計謀。
rsv≡何≡11≡6≡The sword shall rage against their cities, consume the bars of their gates, and devour them in their fortresses.
cuv≡何≡11≡7≡我的民偏要背道離開我；眾先知雖然招呼他們歸向至上的主，卻無人尊崇主。
rsv≡何≡11≡7≡My people are bent on turning away from me; so they are appointed to the yoke, and none shall remove it.
cuv≡何≡11≡8≡以法蓮哪，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你如押瑪？怎能使你如洗扁？我回心轉意，我的憐愛大大發動。
rsv≡何≡11≡8≡How can I give you up, O E'phraim! How can I hand you over, O Israel! How can I make you like Admah! How can I treat you like Zeboi'im! My heart recoils within me, my compassion grows warm and tender.
cuv≡何≡11≡9≡我必不發猛烈的怒氣，也不再毀滅以法蓮。因我是神，並非世人，是你們中間的聖者；我必不在怒中臨到你們。
rsv≡何≡11≡9≡I will not execute my fierce anger, I will not again destroy E'phraim; for I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come to destroy.
cuv≡何≡11≡10≡耶和華必如獅子吼叫，子民必跟隨他。他一吼叫，他們就從西方急速而來。
rsv≡何≡11≡10≡They shall go after the LORD, he will roar like a lion; yea, he will roar, and his sons shall come trembling from the west;
cuv≡何≡11≡11≡他們必如雀鳥從埃及急速而來，又如鴿子從亞述地來到。我必使他們住自己的房屋。這是耶和華說的。
rsv≡何≡11≡11≡they shall come trembling like birds from Egypt, and like doves from the land of Assyria; and I will return them to their homes, says the LORD.
cuv≡何≡11≡12≡以法蓮用謊話，以色列家用詭計圍繞我；猶大卻靠神掌權，向聖者有忠心（或作：猶大向神，向誠實的聖者猶疑不定）。
rsv≡何≡11≡12≡E'phraim has encompassed me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit; but Judah is still known by God, and is faithful to the Holy One.
cuv≡何≡12≡1≡以法蓮喫風，且追趕東風，時常增添虛謊和強暴，與亞述立約，把油送到埃及。
rsv≡何≡12≡1≡E'phraim herds the wind, and pursues the east wind all day long; they multiply falsehood and violence;they make a bargain with Assyria, and oil is carried to Egypt.
cuv≡何≡12≡2≡耶和華與猶大爭辯，必照雅各所行的懲罰他，按他所作的報應他。
rsv≡何≡12≡2≡The LORD has an indictment against Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways, and requite him according to his deeds.
cuv≡何≡12≡3≡他在腹中抓住哥哥的腳跟，壯年的時候與神較力，
rsv≡何≡12≡3≡In the womb he took his brother by the heel, and in his manhood he strove with God.
cuv≡何≡12≡4≡與天使較力，並且得勝，哭泣懇求，在伯特利遇見耶和華。耶和華萬軍之神在那裡曉諭我們以色列人；耶和華是他可記念的名。
rsv≡何≡12≡4≡He strove with the angel and prevailed, he wept and sought his favor. He met God at Bethel, and there God spoke with him --

rsv≡何≡12≡5≡the LORD the God of hosts, the LORD is his name:
cuv≡何≡12≡6≡所以你當歸向你的神，謹守仁愛、公平，常常等候你的神。
rsv≡何≡12≡6≡'So you, by the help of your God, return, hold fast to love and justice, and wait continually for your God.'
cuv≡何≡12≡7≡以法蓮是商人，手裡有詭詐的天平，愛行欺騙。
rsv≡何≡12≡7≡A trader, in whose hands are false balances, he loves to oppress.
cuv≡何≡12≡8≡以法蓮說：我果然成了富足，得了財寶；我所勞碌得來的，人必不見有甚麼不義，可算為罪的。
rsv≡何≡12≡8≡E'phraim has said, 'Ah, but I am rich, I have gained wealth for myself': but all his riches can never offset the guilt he has incurred.
cuv≡何≡12≡9≡自從你出埃及地以來，我就是耶和華你的神；我必使你再住帳棚，如在大會的日子一樣。
rsv≡何≡12≡9≡I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt; I will again make you dwell in tents, as in the days of the appointed feast.
cuv≡何≡12≡10≡我已曉諭眾先知，並且加增默示，藉先知設立比喻。
rsv≡何≡12≡10≡I spoke to the prophets; it was I who multiplied visions, and through the prophets gave parables.
cuv≡何≡12≡11≡基列人沒有罪孽麼？他們全然是虛假的。人在吉甲獻牛犢為祭，他們的祭壇好像田間犁溝中的亂堆。
rsv≡何≡12≡11≡If there is iniquity in Gilead they shall surely come to nought; if in Gilgal they sacrifice bulls, their altars also shall be like stone heaps on the furrows of the field.
cuv≡何≡12≡12≡從前雅各逃到亞蘭地，以色列為得妻服事人，為得妻與人放羊。
rsv≡何≡12≡12≡(Jacob fled to the land of Aram, there Israel did service for a wife, and for a wife he herded sheep.)
cuv≡何≡12≡13≡耶和華藉先知領以色列從埃及上來；以色列也藉先知而得保存。
rsv≡何≡12≡13≡By a prophet the LORD brought Israel up from Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved.
cuv≡何≡12≡14≡以法蓮大大惹動主怒，所以他流血的罪必歸在他身上。主必將那因以法蓮所受的羞辱歸還他。
rsv≡何≡12≡14≡E'phraim has given bitter provocation; so his LORD will leave his bloodguilt upon him, and will turn back upon him his reproaches.
cuv≡何≡13≡1≡從前以法蓮說話，人都戰兢，他在以色列中居處高位；但他在事奉巴力的事上犯罪就死了。
rsv≡何≡13≡1≡When E'phraim spoke, men trembled; he was exalted in Israel;but he incurred guilt through Ba'al and died.
cuv≡何≡13≡2≡現今他們罪上加罪，用銀子為自己鑄造偶像，就是照自己的聰明製造，都是匠人的工作。有人論說，獻祭的人可以向牛犢親嘴。
rsv≡何≡13≡2≡And now they sin more and more, and make for themselves molten images, idols skilfully made of their silver, all of them the work of craftsmen. Sacrifice to these, they say. Men kiss calves!
cuv≡何≡13≡3≡因此，他們必如早晨的雲霧，又如速散的甘露，像場上的糠秕被狂風吹去，又像煙氣騰於窗外。
rsv≡何≡13≡3≡Therefore they shall be like the morning mist or like the dew that goes early away, like the chaff that swirls from the threshing floor or like smoke from a window.
cuv≡何≡13≡4≡自從你出埃及地以來，我就是耶和華你的神。在我以外，你不可認識別神；除我以外並沒有救主。
rsv≡何≡13≡4≡I am the LORD your God from the land of Egypt; you know no God but me, and besides me there is no savior.
cuv≡何≡13≡5≡我曾在曠野乾旱之地認識你。
rsv≡何≡13≡5≡It was I who knew you in the wilderness, in the land of drought;
cuv≡何≡13≡6≡這些民照我所賜的食物得了飽足；既得飽足，心就高傲，忘記了我。
rsv≡何≡13≡6≡but when they had fed to the full, they were filled, and their heart was lifted up; therefore they forgot me.
cuv≡何≡13≡7≡因此，我向他們如獅子，又如豹伏在道旁。
rsv≡何≡13≡7≡So I will be to them like a lion, like a leopard I will lurk beside the way.
cuv≡何≡13≡8≡我遇見他們必像丟崽子的母熊，撕裂他們的胸膛（或作：心膜）。在那裡，我必像母獅吞喫他們；野獸必撕裂他們。
rsv≡何≡13≡8≡I will fall upon them like a bear robbed of her cubs, I will tear open their breast, and there I will devour them like a lion, as a wild beast would rend them.
cuv≡何≡13≡9≡以色列啊，你與我反對，就是反對幫助你的，自取敗壞。
rsv≡何≡13≡9≡I will destroy you, O Israel; who can help you?
cuv≡何≡13≡10≡你曾求我說：給我立王和首領。現在你的王在那裡呢？治理你的在那裡呢？讓他在你所有的城中拯救你吧！
rsv≡何≡13≡10≡Where now is your king, to save you; where are all your princes, to defend you -- those of whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes'?
cuv≡何≡13≡11≡我在怒氣中將王賜你，又在烈怒中將王廢去。
rsv≡何≡13≡11≡I have given you kings in my anger, and I have taken them away in my wrath.
cuv≡何≡13≡12≡以法蓮的罪孽包裹；他的罪惡收藏。
rsv≡何≡13≡12≡The iniquity of E'phraim is bound up, his sin is kept in store.
cuv≡何≡13≡13≡產婦的疼痛必臨到他身上；他是無智慧之子，到了產期不當遲延。
rsv≡何≡13≡13≡The pangs of childbirth come for him, but he is an unwise son; for now he does not present himself at the mouth of the womb.
cuv≡何≡13≡14≡我必救贖他們脫離陰間，救贖他們脫離死亡。死亡啊，你的災害在那裡呢？陰間哪，你的毀滅在那裡呢？在我眼前絕無後悔之事。
rsv≡何≡13≡14≡Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from Death? O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your destruction? Compassion is hid from my eyes.
cuv≡何≡13≡15≡他在弟兄中雖然茂盛，必有東風颳來，就是耶和華的風從曠野上來。他的泉源必乾；他的源頭必竭；仇敵必擄掠他所積蓄的一切寶器。
rsv≡何≡13≡15≡Though he may flourish as the reed plant, the east wind, the wind of the LORD, shall come, rising from the wilderness; and his fountain shall dry up, his spring shall be parched;it shall strip his treasury of every precious thing.
cuv≡何≡13≡16≡撒瑪利亞必擔當自己的罪，因為悖逆他的神。他必倒在刀下；嬰孩必被摔死；孕婦必被剖開。
rsv≡何≡13≡16≡Sama'ria shall bear her guilt, because she has rebelled against her God; they shall fall by the sword, their little ones shall be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women ripped open.
cuv≡何≡14≡1≡以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華你的神；你是因自己的罪孽跌倒了。
rsv≡何≡14≡1≡Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God, for you have stumbled because of your iniquity.
cuv≡何≡14≡2≡當歸向耶和華，用言語禱告他說：求你除淨罪孽，悅納善行；這樣，我們就把嘴唇的祭代替牛犢獻上。
rsv≡何≡14≡2≡Take with you words and return to the LORD; say to him, 'Take away all iniquity;accept that which is good and we will render the fruit of our lips.
cuv≡何≡14≡3≡我們不向亞述求救，不騎埃及的馬，也不再對我們手所造的說：你是我們的神。因為孤兒在你耶和華那裡得蒙憐憫。
rsv≡何≡14≡3≡Assyria shall not save us, we will not ride upon horses; and we will say no more, Our God,' to the work of our hands. In thee the orphan finds mercy.'
cuv≡何≡14≡4≡我必醫治他們背道的病，甘心愛他們；因為我的怒氣向他們轉消。
rsv≡何≡14≡4≡I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely, for my anger has turned from them.
cuv≡何≡14≡5≡我必向以色列如甘露；他必如百合花開放，如利巴嫩的樹木扎根。
rsv≡何≡14≡5≡I will be as the dew to Israel; he shall blossom as the lily, he shall strike root as the poplar;
cuv≡何≡14≡6≡他的枝條必延長；他的榮華如橄欖樹；他的香氣如利巴嫩的香柏樹。
rsv≡何≡14≡6≡his shoots shall spread out; his beauty shall be like the olive, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
cuv≡何≡14≡7≡曾住在他蔭下的必歸回，發旺如五穀，開花如葡萄樹。他的香氣如利巴嫩的酒。
rsv≡何≡14≡7≡They shall return and dwell beneath my shadow, they shall flourish as a garden; they shall blossom as the vine, their fragrance shall be like the wine of Lebanon.
cuv≡何≡14≡8≡以法蓮必說：我與偶像還有甚麼關涉呢？我耶和華回答他，也必顧念他。我如青翠的松樹；你的果子從我而得。
rsv≡何≡14≡8≡O E'phraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress, from me comes your fruit.
cuv≡何≡14≡9≡誰是智慧人，可以明白這些事；誰是通達人，可以知道這一切。因為，耶和華的道是正直的；義人必在其中行走，罪人卻在其上跌倒。
rsv≡何≡14≡9≡Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them;for the ways of the LORD are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.
