約伯記（Job）
cuv≡伯≡1≡1≡烏斯地有一個人名叫約伯；那人完全正直，敬畏神，遠離惡事。
rsv≡伯≡1≡1≡There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God, and turned away from evil.
cuv≡伯≡1≡2≡他生了七個兒子，三個女兒。
rsv≡伯≡1≡2≡There were born to him seven sons and three daughters.
cuv≡伯≡1≡3≡他的家產有七千羊，三千駱駝，五百對牛，五百母驢，並有許多僕婢。這人在東方人中就為至大。
rsv≡伯≡1≡3≡He had seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she-asses, and very many servants; so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east.
cuv≡伯≡1≡4≡他的兒子按著日子各在自己家裡設擺筵宴，就打發人去，請了他們的三個姊妹來，與他們一同喫喝。
rsv≡伯≡1≡4≡His sons used to go and hold a feast in the house of each on his day; and they would send and invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.
cuv≡伯≡1≡5≡筵宴的日子過了，約伯打發人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按著他們眾人的數目獻燔祭；因為他說：「恐怕我兒子犯了罪，心中棄掉神。」約伯常常這樣行。
rsv≡伯≡1≡5≡And when the days of the feast had
run their course, Job would send and sanctify
them, and he would rise early in the morning and
offer burnt offerings according to the number of
them all; for Job said, 'It may be that my sons
have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.' Thus
Job did continually.
cuv≡伯≡1≡6≡有一天，神的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前，撒但也來在其中。
rsv≡伯≡1≡6≡Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.
cuv≡伯≡1≡7≡耶和華問撒但說：「你從那裡來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡7≡The LORD said to Satan, 'Whence have you come?' Satan answered the LORD, 'From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡8≡耶和華問撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他完全正直，敬畏神，遠離惡事。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡8≡And the LORD said to Satan, 'Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?'
cuv≡伯≡1≡9≡撒但回答耶和華說：「約伯敬畏神，豈是無故呢？
rsv≡伯≡1≡9≡Then Satan answered the LORD, 'Does Job fear God for nought?
cuv≡伯≡1≡10≡你豈不是四面圈上籬笆圍護他和他的家，並他一切所有的麼？他手所作的都蒙你賜福；他的家產也在地上增多。
rsv≡伯≡1≡10≡Hast thou not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
cuv≡伯≡1≡11≡你且伸手毀他一切所有的；他必當面棄掉你。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡11≡But put forth thy hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will curse thee to thy face.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡12≡耶和華對撒但說：「凡他所有的都在你手中；只是不可伸手加害於他。」於是撒但從耶和華面前退去。
rsv≡伯≡1≡12≡And the LORD said to Satan, 'Behold, all that he has is in your power; only upon himself do not put forth your hand.' So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.
cuv≡伯≡1≡13≡有一天，約伯的兒女正在他們長兄的家裡喫飯喝酒，
rsv≡伯≡1≡13≡Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house;
cuv≡伯≡1≡14≡有報信的來見約伯，說：「牛正耕地，驢在旁邊喫草，
rsv≡伯≡1≡14≡and there came a messenger to Job, and said, 'The oxen were plowing and the asses feeding beside them;
cuv≡伯≡1≡15≡示巴人忽然闖來，把牲畜擄去，並用刀殺了僕人；惟有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡15≡and the Sabe'ans fell upon them and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡16≡他還說話的時候，又有人來說：「神從天上降下火來，將群羊和僕人都燒滅了；惟有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡16≡While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, 'The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡17≡他還說話的時候，又有人來說：「迦勒底人分作三隊忽然闖來，把駱駝擄去，並用刀殺了僕人；惟有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡17≡While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, 'The Chalde'ans formed three companies, and made a raid upon the camels and took them, and slew the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡18≡他還說話的時候，又有人來說：「你的兒女正在他們長兄的家裡喫飯喝酒，
rsv≡伯≡1≡18≡While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, 'Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house;
cuv≡伯≡1≡19≡不料，有狂風從曠野颳來，擊打房屋的四角，房屋倒塌在少年人身上，他們就都死了；惟有我一人逃脫，來報信給你。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡19≡and behold, a great wind came across the wilderness, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡20≡約伯便起來，撕裂外袍，剃了頭，伏在地上下拜，
rsv≡伯≡1≡20≡Then Job arose, and rent his robe, and shaved his head, and fell upon the ground, and worshiped.
cuv≡伯≡1≡21≡說：「我赤身出於母胎，也必赤身歸回；賞賜的是耶和華，收取的也是耶和華。耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。」
rsv≡伯≡1≡21≡And he said, 'Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return; the LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away;blessed be the name of the LORD.'
cuv≡伯≡1≡22≡在這一切的事上約伯並不犯罪，也不以神為愚妄（或作：也不妄評神）。
rsv≡伯≡1≡22≡In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.
cuv≡伯≡2≡1≡又有一天，神的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前，撒但也來在其中。
rsv≡伯≡2≡1≡Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD.
cuv≡伯≡2≡2≡耶和華問撒但說：「你從那裡來？」撒但回答說：「我從地上走來走去，往返而來。」
rsv≡伯≡2≡2≡And the LORD said to Satan, 'Whence have you come?' Satan answered the LORD, 'From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.'
cuv≡伯≡2≡3≡耶和華問撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他完全正直，敬畏神，遠離惡事。你雖激動我攻擊他，無故地毀滅他，他仍然持守他的純正。」
rsv≡伯≡2≡3≡And the LORD said to Satan, 'Have
you considered my servant Job, that there is none
like him on the earth, a blameless and upright
man, who fears God and turns away from evil? He
still holds fast his integrity, although you moved
me against him, to destroy him without cause.'
cuv≡伯≡2≡4≡撒但回答耶和華說：「人以皮代皮，情願捨去一切所有的，保全性命。
rsv≡伯≡2≡4≡Then Satan answered the LORD, 'Skin for skin! All that a man has he will give for his life.
cuv≡伯≡2≡5≡你且伸手傷他的骨頭和他的肉，他必當面棄掉你。」
rsv≡伯≡2≡5≡But put forth thy hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.'
cuv≡伯≡2≡6≡耶和華對撒但說：「他在你手中，只要存留他的性命。」
rsv≡伯≡2≡6≡And the LORD said to Satan, 'Behold, he is in your power; only spare his life.'
cuv≡伯≡2≡7≡於是撒但從耶和華面前退去，擊打約伯，使他從腳掌到頭頂長毒瘡。
rsv≡伯≡2≡7≡So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD, and afflicted Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.
cuv≡伯≡2≡8≡約伯就坐在爐灰中，拿瓦片刮身體。
rsv≡伯≡2≡8≡And he took a potsherd with which to scrape himself, and sat among the ashes.
cuv≡伯≡2≡9≡他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正麼？你棄掉神，死了吧！」
rsv≡伯≡2≡9≡Then his wife said to him, 'Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God, and die.'
cuv≡伯≡2≡10≡約伯卻對他說：「你說話像愚頑的婦人一樣。噯！難道我們從神手裡得福，不也受禍麼？」在這一切的事上約伯並不以口犯罪。
rsv≡伯≡2≡10≡But he said to her, 'You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?' In all this Job did not sin with his lips.
cuv≡伯≡2≡11≡約伯的三個朋友提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法聽說有這一切的災禍臨到他身上，各人就從本處約會同來，為他悲傷，安慰他。
rsv≡伯≡2≡11≡Now when Job's three friends heard
of all this evil that had come upon him, they came
each from his own place, Eli'phaz the Te'manite,
Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Na'amathite.
They made an appointment together to come to
condole with him and comfort him.
cuv≡伯≡2≡12≡他們遠遠的舉目觀看，認不出他來，就放聲大哭。各人撕裂外袍，把塵土向天揚起來，落在自己的頭上。
rsv≡伯≡2≡12≡And when they saw him from afar, they did not recognize him; and they raised their voices and wept;and they rent their robes and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.
cuv≡伯≡2≡13≡他們就同他七天七夜坐在地上，一個人也不向他說句話，因為他極其痛苦。
rsv≡伯≡2≡13≡And they sat with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his suffering was very great.
cuv≡伯≡3≡1≡此後，約伯開口咒詛自己的生日，
rsv≡伯≡3≡1≡After this Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.
cuv≡伯≡3≡2≡說：
rsv≡伯≡3≡2≡And Job said:
cuv≡伯≡3≡3≡願我生的那日和說懷了男胎的那夜都滅沒。
rsv≡伯≡3≡3≡'Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night which said, A man-child is conceived.'
cuv≡伯≡3≡4≡願那日變為黑暗；願神不從上面尋找他；願亮光不照於其上。
rsv≡伯≡3≡4≡Let that day be darkness! May God above not seek it, nor light shine upon it.
cuv≡伯≡3≡5≡願黑暗和死蔭索取那日；願密雲停在其上；願日蝕恐嚇他。
rsv≡伯≡3≡5≡Let gloom and deep darkness claim it. Let clouds dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
cuv≡伯≡3≡6≡願那夜被幽暗奪取，不在年中的日子同樂，也不入月中的數目。
rsv≡伯≡3≡6≡That night -- let thick darkness seize it! let it not rejoice among the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
cuv≡伯≡3≡7≡願那夜沒有生育，其間也沒有歡樂的聲音。
rsv≡伯≡3≡7≡Yea, let that night be barren; let no joyful cry be heard in it.
cuv≡伯≡3≡8≡願那咒詛日子且能惹動鱷魚的咒詛那夜。
rsv≡伯≡3≡8≡Let those curse it who curse the day, who are skilled to rouse up Levi'athan.
cuv≡伯≡3≡9≡願那夜黎明的星宿變為黑暗，盼亮卻不亮，也不見早晨的光線（原文是眼皮）；
rsv≡伯≡3≡9≡Let the stars of its dawn be dark; let it hope for light, but have none, nor see the eyelids of the morning;
cuv≡伯≡3≡10≡因沒有把懷我胎的門關閉，也沒有將患難對我的眼隱藏。
rsv≡伯≡3≡10≡because it did not shut the doors of my mother's womb, nor hide trouble from my eyes.
cuv≡伯≡3≡11≡我為何不出母胎而死？為何不出母腹絕氣？
rsv≡伯≡3≡11≡'Why did I not die at birth, come forth from the womb and expire?
cuv≡伯≡3≡12≡為何有膝接收我？為何有奶哺養我？
rsv≡伯≡3≡12≡Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breasts, that I should suck?
cuv≡伯≡3≡13≡不然，我就早已躺臥安睡，
rsv≡伯≡3≡13≡For then I should have lain down and been quiet; I should have slept;then I should have been at rest,
cuv≡伯≡3≡14≡和地上為自己重造荒邱的君王、謀士，
rsv≡伯≡3≡14≡with kings and counselors of the earth who rebuilt ruins for themselves,
cuv≡伯≡3≡15≡或與有金子、將銀子裝滿了房屋的王子一同安息；
rsv≡伯≡3≡15≡or with princes who had gold, who filled their houses with silver.
cuv≡伯≡3≡16≡或像隱而未現、不到期而落的胎，歸於無有，如同未見光的嬰孩。
rsv≡伯≡3≡16≡Or why was I not as a hidden untimely birth, as infants that never see the light?
cuv≡伯≡3≡17≡在那裡惡人止息攪擾，困乏人得享安息，
rsv≡伯≡3≡17≡There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary are at rest.
cuv≡伯≡3≡18≡被囚的人同得安逸，不聽見督工的聲音。
rsv≡伯≡3≡18≡There the prisoners are at ease together; they hear not the voice of the taskmaster.
cuv≡伯≡3≡19≡大小都在那裡；奴僕脫離主人的轄制。
rsv≡伯≡3≡19≡The small and the great are there, and the slave is free from his master.
cuv≡伯≡3≡20≡受患難的人為何有光賜給他呢？心中愁苦的人為何有生命賜給他呢？
rsv≡伯≡3≡20≡'Why is light given to him that is in misery, and life to the bitter in soul,
cuv≡伯≡3≡21≡他們切望死，卻不得死；求死，勝於求隱藏的珍寶。
rsv≡伯≡3≡21≡who long for death, but it comes not, and dig for it more than for hid treasures;
cuv≡伯≡3≡22≡他們尋見墳墓就快樂，極其歡喜。
rsv≡伯≡3≡22≡who rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they find the grave?
cuv≡伯≡3≡23≡人的道路既然遮隱，神又把他四面圍困，為何有光賜給他呢？
rsv≡伯≡3≡23≡Why is light given to a man whose way is hid, whom God has hedged in?
cuv≡伯≡3≡24≡我未曾喫飯就發出歎息；我唉哼的聲音湧出如水。
rsv≡伯≡3≡24≡For my sighing comes as my bread, and my groanings are poured out like water.
cuv≡伯≡3≡25≡因我所恐懼的臨到我身，我所懼怕的迎我而來。
rsv≡伯≡3≡25≡For the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me.
cuv≡伯≡3≡26≡我不得安逸，不得平靜，也不得安息，卻有患難來到。
rsv≡伯≡3≡26≡I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest;but trouble comes.'
cuv≡伯≡4≡1≡提幔人以利法回答說：
rsv≡伯≡4≡1≡Then Eli'phaz the Te'manite answered:
cuv≡伯≡4≡2≡人若想與你說話，你就厭煩麼？但誰能忍住不說呢？
rsv≡伯≡4≡2≡'If one ventures a word with you, will you be offended? Yet who can keep from speaking?
cuv≡伯≡4≡3≡你素來教導許多的人，又堅固軟弱的手。
rsv≡伯≡4≡3≡Behold, you have instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands.
cuv≡伯≡4≡4≡你的言語曾扶助那將要跌倒的人；你又使軟弱的膝穩固。
rsv≡伯≡4≡4≡Your words have upheld him who was stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees.
cuv≡伯≡4≡5≡但現在禍患臨到你，你就昏迷，挨近你，你便驚惶。
rsv≡伯≡4≡5≡But now it has come to you, and you are impatient; it touches you, and you are dismayed.
cuv≡伯≡4≡6≡你的倚靠不是在你敬畏神麼？你的盼望不是在你行事純正麼？
rsv≡伯≡4≡6≡Is not your fear of God your confidence, and the integrity of your ways your hope?
cuv≡伯≡4≡7≡請你追想：無辜的人有誰滅亡？正直的人在何處剪除？
rsv≡伯≡4≡7≡'Think now, who that was innocent ever perished? Or where were the upright cut off?
cuv≡伯≡4≡8≡按我所見，耕罪孽、種毒害的人都照樣收割。
rsv≡伯≡4≡8≡As I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.
cuv≡伯≡4≡9≡神一出氣，他們就滅亡；神一發怒，他們就消沒。
rsv≡伯≡4≡9≡By the breath of God they perish, and by the blast of his anger they are consumed.
cuv≡伯≡4≡10≡獅子的吼叫和猛獅的聲音盡都止息；少壯獅子的牙齒也都敲掉。
rsv≡伯≡4≡10≡The roar of the lion, the voice of the fierce lion, the teeth of the young lions, are broken.
cuv≡伯≡4≡11≡老獅子因絕食而死；母獅之子也都離散。
rsv≡伯≡4≡11≡The strong lion perishes for lack of prey, and the whelps of the lioness are scattered.
cuv≡伯≡4≡12≡我暗暗的得了默示；我耳朵也聽其細微的聲音。
rsv≡伯≡4≡12≡'Now a word was brought to me stealthily, my ear received the whisper of it.
cuv≡伯≡4≡13≡在思念夜中、異象之間，世人沉睡的時候，
rsv≡伯≡4≡13≡Amid thoughts from visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on men,
cuv≡伯≡4≡14≡恐懼、戰兢臨到我身，使我百骨打戰。
rsv≡伯≡4≡14≡dread came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones shake.
cuv≡伯≡4≡15≡有靈從我面前經過，我身上的毫毛直立。
rsv≡伯≡4≡15≡A spirit glided past my face; the hair of my flesh stood up.
cuv≡伯≡4≡16≡那靈停住，我卻不能辨其形狀；有影像在我眼前。我在靜默中聽見有聲音說：
rsv≡伯≡4≡16≡It stood still, but I could not discern its appearance. A form was before my eyes; there was silence, then I heard a voice:
cuv≡伯≡4≡17≡必死的人豈能比神公義麼？人豈能比造他的主潔淨麼？
rsv≡伯≡4≡17≡Can mortal man be righteous before God? Can a man be pure before his Maker?
cuv≡伯≡4≡18≡主不信靠他的臣僕，並且指他的使者為愚昧；
rsv≡伯≡4≡18≡Even in his servants he puts no trust, and his angels he charges with error;
cuv≡伯≡4≡19≡何況那住在土房、根基在塵土裡、被蠹蟲所毀壞的人呢？
rsv≡伯≡4≡19≡how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth.
cuv≡伯≡4≡20≡早晚之間，就被毀滅，永歸無有，無人理會。
rsv≡伯≡4≡20≡Between morning and evening they are destroyed; they perish for ever without any regarding it.
cuv≡伯≡4≡21≡他帳棚的繩索豈不從中抽出來呢？他死，且是無智慧而死。
rsv≡伯≡4≡21≡If their tent-cord is plucked up within them, do they not die, and that without wisdom?'
cuv≡伯≡5≡1≡你且呼求，有誰答應你？諸聖者之中，你轉向那一位呢？
rsv≡伯≡5≡1≡'Call now; is there any one who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn?
cuv≡伯≡5≡2≡忿怒害死愚妄人；嫉妒殺死癡迷人。
rsv≡伯≡5≡2≡Surely vexation kills the fool, and jealousy slays the simple.
cuv≡伯≡5≡3≡我曾見愚妄人扎下根，但我忽然咒詛他的住處。
rsv≡伯≡5≡3≡I have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his dwelling.
cuv≡伯≡5≡4≡他的兒女遠離穩妥的地步，在城門口被壓，並無人搭救。
rsv≡伯≡5≡4≡His sons are far from safety, they are crushed in the gate, and there is no one to deliver them.
cuv≡伯≡5≡5≡他的莊稼有飢餓的人喫盡了，就是在荊棘裡的也搶去了；他的財寶有網羅張口吞滅了。
rsv≡伯≡5≡5≡His harvest the hungry eat, and he takes it even out of thorns; and the thirsty pant after his wealth.
cuv≡伯≡5≡6≡禍患原不是從土中出來；患難也不是從地裡發生。
rsv≡伯≡5≡6≡For affliction does not come from the dust, nor does trouble sprout from the ground;
cuv≡伯≡5≡7≡人生在世必遇患難，如同火星飛騰。
rsv≡伯≡5≡7≡but man is born to trouble as the sparks fly upward.
cuv≡伯≡5≡8≡至於我，我必仰望神，把我的事情託付他。
rsv≡伯≡5≡8≡'As for me, I would seek God, and to God would I commit my cause;
cuv≡伯≡5≡9≡他行大事不可測度，行奇事不可勝數：
rsv≡伯≡5≡9≡who does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number:
cuv≡伯≡5≡10≡降雨在地上，賜水於田裡；
rsv≡伯≡5≡10≡he gives rain upon the earth and sends waters upon the fields;
cuv≡伯≡5≡11≡將卑微的安置在高處，將哀痛的舉到穩妥之地；
rsv≡伯≡5≡11≡he sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
cuv≡伯≡5≡12≡破壞狡猾人的計謀，使他們所謀的不得成就。
rsv≡伯≡5≡12≡He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success.
cuv≡伯≡5≡13≡他叫有智慧的中了自己的詭計，使狡詐人的計謀速速滅亡。
rsv≡伯≡5≡13≡He takes the wise in their own craftiness; and the schemes of the wily are brought to a quick end.
cuv≡伯≡5≡14≡他們白晝遇見黑暗，午間摸索如在夜間。
rsv≡伯≡5≡14≡They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope at noonday as in the night.
cuv≡伯≡5≡15≡神拯救窮乏人脫離他們口中的刀和強暴人的手。
rsv≡伯≡5≡15≡But he saves the fatherless from their mouth, the needy from the hand of the mighty.
cuv≡伯≡5≡16≡這樣，貧寒的人有指望，罪孽之輩必塞口無言。
rsv≡伯≡5≡16≡So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts her mouth.
cuv≡伯≡5≡17≡神所懲治的人是有福的！所以你不可輕看全能者的管教。
rsv≡伯≡5≡17≡'Behold, happy is the man whom God reproves; therefore despise not the chastening of the Almighty.
cuv≡伯≡5≡18≡因為他打破，又纏裹；他擊傷，用手醫治。
rsv≡伯≡5≡18≡For he wounds, but he binds up; he smites, but his hands heal.
cuv≡伯≡5≡19≡你六次遭難，他必救你；就是七次，災禍也無法害你。
rsv≡伯≡5≡19≡He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven there shall no evil touch you.
cuv≡伯≡5≡20≡在饑荒中，他必救你脫離死亡；在爭戰中，他必救你脫離刀劍的權力。
rsv≡伯≡5≡20≡In famine he will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword.
cuv≡伯≡5≡21≡你必被隱藏，不受口舌之害；災殃臨到，你也不懼怕。
rsv≡伯≡5≡21≡You shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue, and shall not fear destruction when it comes.

rsv≡伯≡5≡23≡For you shall be in league with the stones of the field, and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you.
cuv≡伯≡5≡24≡你必知道你帳棚平安，要查看你的羊圈，一無所失；
rsv≡伯≡5≡24≡You shall know that your tent is safe, and you shall inspect your fold and miss nothing.
cuv≡伯≡5≡25≡也必知道你的後裔將來發達，你的子孫像地上的青草。
rsv≡伯≡5≡25≡You shall know also that your descendants shall be many, and your offspring as the grass of the earth.
cuv≡伯≡5≡26≡你必壽高年邁纔歸墳墓，好像禾捆到時收藏。
rsv≡伯≡5≡26≡You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, as a shock of grain comes up to the threshing floor in its season.
cuv≡伯≡5≡27≡這理，我們已經考察，本是如此。你須要聽，要知道是與自己有益。
rsv≡伯≡5≡27≡Lo, this we have searched out; it is true. Hear, and know it for your good.'
cuv≡伯≡6≡1≡約伯回答說：
rsv≡伯≡6≡1≡Then Job answered:
cuv≡伯≡6≡2≡惟願我的煩惱稱一稱，我一切的災害放在天平裡；
rsv≡伯≡6≡2≡'O that my vexation were weighed, and all my calamity laid in the balances!
cuv≡伯≡6≡3≡現今都比海沙更重，所以我的言語急躁。
rsv≡伯≡6≡3≡For then it would be heavier than the sand of the sea; therefore my words have been rash.
cuv≡伯≡6≡4≡因全能者的箭射入我身；其毒，我的靈喝盡了；神的驚嚇擺陣攻擊我。
rsv≡伯≡6≡4≡For the arrows of the Almighty are in me; my spirit drinks their poison;the terrors of God are arrayed against me.
cuv≡伯≡6≡5≡野驢有草豈能叫喚？牛有料豈能吼叫？
rsv≡伯≡6≡5≡Does the wild ass bray when he has grass, or the ox low over his fodder?
cuv≡伯≡6≡6≡物淡而無鹽豈可喫麼？蛋青有甚麼滋味呢？
rsv≡伯≡6≡6≡Can that which is tasteless be eaten without salt, or is there any taste in the slime of the purslane?
cuv≡伯≡6≡7≡看為可厭的食物，我心不肯挨近。
rsv≡伯≡6≡7≡My appetite refuses to touch them; they are as food that is loathsome to me.
cuv≡伯≡6≡8≡惟願我得著所求的，願神賜我所切望的；
rsv≡伯≡6≡8≡'O that I might have my request, and that God would grant my desire;
cuv≡伯≡6≡9≡就是願神把我壓碎，伸手將我剪除。
rsv≡伯≡6≡9≡that it would please God to crush me, that he would let loose his hand and cut me off!
cuv≡伯≡6≡10≡我因沒有違棄那聖者的言語，就仍以此為安慰，在不止息的痛苦中還可踴躍。
rsv≡伯≡6≡10≡This would be my consolation; I would even exult in pain unsparing;for I have not denied the words of the Holy One.
cuv≡伯≡6≡11≡我有甚麼氣力使我等候？我有甚麼結局使我忍耐？
rsv≡伯≡6≡11≡What is my strength, that I should wait? And what is my end, that I should be patient?
cuv≡伯≡6≡12≡我的氣力豈是石頭的氣力？我的肉身豈是銅的呢？
rsv≡伯≡6≡12≡Is my strength the strength of stones, or is my flesh bronze?
cuv≡伯≡6≡13≡在我豈不是毫無幫助麼？智慧豈不是從我心中趕出淨盡麼？
rsv≡伯≡6≡13≡In truth I have no help in me, and any resource is driven from me.
cuv≡伯≡6≡14≡那將要灰心、離棄全能者、不敬畏神的人，他的朋友當以慈愛待他。
rsv≡伯≡6≡14≡'He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty.
cuv≡伯≡6≡15≡我的弟兄詭詐，好像溪水，又像溪水流乾的河道。
rsv≡伯≡6≡15≡My brethren are treacherous as a torrent-bed, as freshets that pass away,
cuv≡伯≡6≡16≡這河因結冰發黑，有雪藏在其中；
rsv≡伯≡6≡16≡which are dark with ice, and where the snow hides itself.
cuv≡伯≡6≡17≡天氣漸暖就隨時消化，日頭炎熱便從原處乾涸。
rsv≡伯≡6≡17≡In time of heat they disappear; when it is hot, they vanish from their place.
cuv≡伯≡6≡18≡結伴的客旅離棄大道，順河偏行，到荒野之地死亡。
rsv≡伯≡6≡18≡The caravans turn aside from their course; they go up into the waste, and perish.
cuv≡伯≡6≡19≡提瑪結伴的客旅瞻望；示巴同夥的人等候。
rsv≡伯≡6≡19≡The caravans of Tema look, the travelers of Sheba hope.
cuv≡伯≡6≡20≡他們因失了盼望就抱愧，來到那裡便蒙羞。
rsv≡伯≡6≡20≡They are disappointed because they were confident; they come thither and are confounded.
cuv≡伯≡6≡21≡現在你們正是這樣，看見驚嚇的事便懼怕。
rsv≡伯≡6≡21≡Such you have now become to me; you see my calamity, and are afraid.
cuv≡伯≡6≡22≡我豈說：請你們供給我，從你們的財物中送禮物給我？
rsv≡伯≡6≡22≡Have I said, Make me a gift'? Or, From your wealth offer a bribe for me'?
cuv≡伯≡6≡23≡豈說：拯救我脫離敵人的手麼？救贖我脫離強暴人的手麼？
rsv≡伯≡6≡23≡Or, Deliver me from the adversary's hand'? Or, Ransom me from the hand of oppressors'?
cuv≡伯≡6≡24≡請你們教導我，我便不作聲；使我明白在何事上有錯。
rsv≡伯≡6≡24≡'Teach me, and I will be silent; make me understand how I have erred.
cuv≡伯≡6≡25≡正直的言語力量何其大！但你們責備是責備甚麼呢？
rsv≡伯≡6≡25≡How forceful are honest words! But what does reproof from you reprove?
cuv≡伯≡6≡26≡絕望人的講論既然如風，你們還想要駁正言語麼？
rsv≡伯≡6≡26≡Do you think that you can reprove words, when the speech of a despairing man is wind?
cuv≡伯≡6≡27≡你們想為孤兒拈鬮，以朋友當貨物。
rsv≡伯≡6≡27≡You would even cast lots over the fatherless, and bargain over your friend.
cuv≡伯≡6≡28≡現在請你們看看我，我決不當面說謊。
rsv≡伯≡6≡28≡'But now, be pleased to look at me; for I will not lie to your face.
cuv≡伯≡6≡29≡請你們轉意，不要不公；請再轉意，我的事有理。
rsv≡伯≡6≡29≡Turn, I pray, let no wrong be done. Turn now, my vindication is at stake.
cuv≡伯≡6≡30≡我的舌上豈有不義麼？我的口裡豈不辨奸惡麼？
rsv≡伯≡6≡30≡Is there any wrong on my tongue? Cannot my taste discern calamity?
cuv≡伯≡7≡1≡人在世上豈無爭戰麼？他的日子不像雇工人的日子麼？
rsv≡伯≡7≡1≡'Has not man a hard service upon earth, and are not his days like the days of a hireling?
cuv≡伯≡7≡2≡像奴僕切慕黑影，像雇工人盼望工價；
rsv≡伯≡7≡2≡Like a slave who longs for the shadow, and like a hireling who looks for his wages,
cuv≡伯≡7≡3≡我也照樣經過困苦的日月，夜間的疲乏為我而定。
rsv≡伯≡7≡3≡so I am allotted months of emptiness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me.
cuv≡伯≡7≡4≡我躺臥的時候便說：我何時起來，黑夜就過去呢？我盡是反來覆去，直到天亮。
rsv≡伯≡7≡4≡When I lie down I say, When shall I arise?' But the night is long, and I am full of tossing till the dawn.
cuv≡伯≡7≡5≡我的肉體以蟲子和塵土為衣；我的皮膚纔收了口又重新破裂。
rsv≡伯≡7≡5≡My flesh is clothed with worms and dirt; my skin hardens, then breaks out afresh.
cuv≡伯≡7≡6≡我的日子比梭更快，都消耗在無指望之中。
rsv≡伯≡7≡6≡My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle, and come to their end without hope.
cuv≡伯≡7≡7≡求你想念，我的生命不過是一口氣；我的眼睛必不再見福樂。
rsv≡伯≡7≡7≡'Remember that my life is a breath; my eye will never again see good.
cuv≡伯≡7≡8≡觀看我的人，他的眼必不再見我；你的眼目要看我，我卻不在了。
rsv≡伯≡7≡8≡The eye of him who sees me will behold me no more; while thy eyes are upon me, I shall be gone.
cuv≡伯≡7≡9≡雲彩消散而過；照樣，人下陰間也不再上來。

rsv≡伯≡7≡11≡'Therefore I will not restrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit;I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.
cuv≡伯≡7≡12≡我對神說：我豈是洋海，豈是大魚，你竟防守我呢？
rsv≡伯≡7≡12≡Am I the sea, or a sea monster, that thou settest a guard over me?
cuv≡伯≡7≡13≡若說：我的床必安慰我，我的榻必解釋我的苦情，
rsv≡伯≡7≡13≡When I say, My bed will comfort me, my couch will ease my complaint,'
cuv≡伯≡7≡14≡你就用夢驚駭我，用異象恐嚇我，
rsv≡伯≡7≡14≡then thou dost scare me with dreams and terrify me with visions,
cuv≡伯≡7≡15≡甚至我寧肯噎死，寧肯死亡，勝似留我這一身的骨頭。
rsv≡伯≡7≡15≡so that I would choose strangling and death rather than my bones.
cuv≡伯≡7≡16≡我厭棄性命，不願永活。你任憑我吧，因我的日子都是虛空。
rsv≡伯≡7≡16≡I loathe my life; I would not live for ever. Let me alone, for my days are a breath.
cuv≡伯≡7≡17≡人算甚麼，你竟看他為大，將他放在心上？
rsv≡伯≡7≡17≡What is man, that thou dost make so much of him, and that thou dost set thy mind upon him,
cuv≡伯≡7≡18≡每早鑒察他，時刻試驗他？
rsv≡伯≡7≡18≡dost visit him every morning, and test him every moment?
cuv≡伯≡7≡19≡你到何時纔轉眼不看我，纔任憑我咽下唾沫呢？
rsv≡伯≡7≡19≡How long wilt thou not look away from me, nor let me alone till I swallow my spittle?
cuv≡伯≡7≡20≡鑒察人的主啊，我若有罪，於你何妨？為何以我當你的箭靶子，使我厭棄自己的性命？
rsv≡伯≡7≡20≡If I sin, what do I do to thee, thou watcher of men? Why hast thou made me thy mark? Why have I become a burden to thee?
cuv≡伯≡7≡21≡為何不赦免我的過犯，除掉我的罪孽？我現今要躺臥在塵土中；你要殷勤地尋找我，我卻不在了。
rsv≡伯≡7≡21≡Why dost thou not pardon my transgression and take away my iniquity? For now I shall lie in the earth; thou wilt seek me, but I shall not be.'
cuv≡伯≡8≡1≡書亞人比勒達回答說：
rsv≡伯≡8≡1≡Then Bildad the Shuhite answered:
cuv≡伯≡8≡2≡這些話你要說到幾時？口中的言語如狂風要到幾時呢？
rsv≡伯≡8≡2≡'How long will you say these things, and the words of your mouth be a great wind?
cuv≡伯≡8≡3≡神豈能偏離公平？全能者豈能偏離公義？
rsv≡伯≡8≡3≡Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert the right?
cuv≡伯≡8≡4≡或者你的兒女得罪了他；他使他們受報應。
rsv≡伯≡8≡4≡If your children have sinned against him, he has delivered them into the power of their transgression.
cuv≡伯≡8≡5≡你若殷勤地尋求神，向全能者懇求；
rsv≡伯≡8≡5≡If you will seek God and make supplication to the Almighty,
cuv≡伯≡8≡6≡你若清潔正直，他必定為你起來，使你公義的居所興旺。
rsv≡伯≡8≡6≡if you are pure and upright, surely then he will rouse himself for you and reward you with a rightful habitation.
cuv≡伯≡8≡7≡你起初雖然微小，終久必甚發達。
rsv≡伯≡8≡7≡And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.
cuv≡伯≡8≡8≡請你考問前代，追念他們的列祖所查究的。
rsv≡伯≡8≡8≡'For inquire, I pray you, of bygone ages, and consider what the fathers have found;
cuv≡伯≡8≡9≡我們不過從昨日纔有，一無所知；我們在世的日子好像影兒。
rsv≡伯≡8≡9≡for we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, for our days on earth are a shadow.
cuv≡伯≡8≡10≡他們豈不指教你，告訴你，從心裡發出言語來呢？
rsv≡伯≡8≡10≡Will they not teach you, and tell you, and utter words out of their understanding?
cuv≡伯≡8≡11≡蒲草沒有泥豈能發長？蘆荻沒有水豈能生發？
rsv≡伯≡8≡11≡'Can papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Can reeds flourish where there is no water?
cuv≡伯≡8≡12≡尚青的時候，還沒有割下，比百樣的草先枯槁。
rsv≡伯≡8≡12≡While yet in flower and not cut down, they wither before any other plant.
cuv≡伯≡8≡13≡凡忘記神的人，景況也是這樣；不虔敬人的指望要滅沒。
rsv≡伯≡8≡13≡Such are the paths of all who forget God; the hope of the godless man shall perish.
cuv≡伯≡8≡14≡他所仰賴的必折斷；他所倚靠的是蜘蛛網。
rsv≡伯≡8≡14≡His confidence breaks in sunder, and his trust is a spider's web.
cuv≡伯≡8≡15≡他要倚靠房屋，房屋卻站立不住；他要抓住房屋，房屋卻不能存留。
rsv≡伯≡8≡15≡He leans against his house, but it does not stand; he lays hold of it, but it does not endure.
cuv≡伯≡8≡16≡他在日光之下發青，蔓子爬滿了園子；
rsv≡伯≡8≡16≡He thrives before the sun, and his shoots spread over his garden.
cuv≡伯≡8≡17≡他的根盤繞石堆，扎入石地。
rsv≡伯≡8≡17≡His roots twine about the stoneheap; he lives among the rocks.
cuv≡伯≡8≡18≡他若從本地被拔出，那地就不認識他，說：我沒有見過你。
rsv≡伯≡8≡18≡If he is destroyed from his place, then it will deny him, saying, I have never seen you.'
cuv≡伯≡8≡19≡看哪，這就是他道中之樂；以後必另有人從地而生。
rsv≡伯≡8≡19≡Behold, this is the joy of his way; and out of the earth others will spring.
cuv≡伯≡8≡20≡神必不丟棄完全人，也不扶助邪惡人。
rsv≡伯≡8≡20≡'Behold, God will not reject a blameless man, nor take the hand of evildoers.
cuv≡伯≡8≡21≡他還要以喜笑充滿你的口，以歡呼充滿你的嘴。

cuv≡伯≡9≡2≡我真知道是這樣；但人在神面前怎能成為義呢？
rsv≡伯≡9≡2≡'Truly I know that it is so: But how can a man be just before God?
cuv≡伯≡9≡3≡若願意與他爭辯，千中之一也不能回答。
rsv≡伯≡9≡3≡If one wished to contend with him, one could not answer him once in a thousand times.
cuv≡伯≡9≡4≡他心裡有智慧，且大有能力。誰向神剛硬而得亨通呢？
rsv≡伯≡9≡4≡He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength -- who has hardened himself against him, and succeeded? --
cuv≡伯≡9≡5≡他發怒，把山翻倒挪移，山並不知覺。
rsv≡伯≡9≡5≡he who removes mountains, and they know it not, when he overturns them in his anger;
cuv≡伯≡9≡6≡他使地震動，離其本位，地的柱子就搖撼。
rsv≡伯≡9≡6≡who shakes the earth out of its place, and its pillars tremble;
cuv≡伯≡9≡7≡他吩咐日頭不出來，就不出來，又封閉眾星。
rsv≡伯≡9≡7≡who commands the sun, and it does not rise; who seals up the stars;
cuv≡伯≡9≡8≡他獨自鋪張蒼天，步行在海浪之上。
rsv≡伯≡9≡8≡who alone stretched out the heavens, and trampled the waves of the sea;
cuv≡伯≡9≡9≡他造北斗、參星、昴星，並南方的密宮；
rsv≡伯≡9≡9≡who made the Bear and Orion, the Plei'ades and the chambers of the south;
cuv≡伯≡9≡10≡他行大事，不可測度，行奇事，不可勝數。
rsv≡伯≡9≡10≡who does great things beyond understanding, and marvelous things without number.
cuv≡伯≡9≡11≡他從我旁邊經過，我卻不看見；他在我面前行走，我倒不知覺。
rsv≡伯≡9≡11≡Lo, he passes by me, and I see him not; he moves on, but I do not perceive him.
cuv≡伯≡9≡12≡他奪取，誰能阻擋？誰敢問他：你作甚麼？
rsv≡伯≡9≡12≡Behold, he snatches away; who can hinder him? Who will say to him, What doest thou'?
cuv≡伯≡9≡13≡神必不收回他的怒氣；扶助拉哈伯的，屈身在他以下。
rsv≡伯≡9≡13≡'God will not turn back his anger; beneath him bowed the helpers of Rahab.
cuv≡伯≡9≡14≡既是這樣，我怎敢回答他，怎敢選擇言語與他辯論呢？
rsv≡伯≡9≡14≡How then can I answer him, choosing my words with him?
cuv≡伯≡9≡15≡我雖有義，也不回答他，只要向那審判我的懇求。
rsv≡伯≡9≡15≡Though I am innocent, I cannot answer him; I must appeal for mercy to my accuser.
cuv≡伯≡9≡16≡我若呼籲，他應允我；我仍不信他真聽我的聲音。
rsv≡伯≡9≡16≡If I summoned him and he answered me, I would not believe that he was listening to my voice.
cuv≡伯≡9≡17≡他用暴風折斷我，無故地加增我的損傷。
rsv≡伯≡9≡17≡For he crushes me with a tempest, and multiplies my wounds without cause;
cuv≡伯≡9≡18≡我就是喘一口氣，他都不容，倒使我滿心苦惱。
rsv≡伯≡9≡18≡he will not let me get my breath, but fills me with bitterness.
cuv≡伯≡9≡19≡若論力量，他真有能力！若論審判，他說誰能將我傳來呢？
rsv≡伯≡9≡19≡If it is a contest of strength, behold him! If it is a matter of justice, who can summon him?
cuv≡伯≡9≡20≡我雖有義，自己的口要定我為有罪；我雖完全，我口必顯我為彎曲。
rsv≡伯≡9≡20≡Though I am innocent, my own mouth would condemn me; though I am blameless, he would prove me perverse.
cuv≡伯≡9≡21≡我本完全，不顧自己；我厭惡我的性命。
rsv≡伯≡9≡21≡I am blameless; I regard not myself;I loathe my life.
cuv≡伯≡9≡22≡善惡無分，都是一樣；所以我說，完全人和惡人，他都滅絕。
rsv≡伯≡9≡22≡It is all one; therefore I say, he destroys both the blameless and the wicked.
cuv≡伯≡9≡23≡若忽然遭殺害之禍，他必戲笑無辜的人遇難。
rsv≡伯≡9≡23≡When disaster brings sudden death, he mocks at the calamity of the innocent.
cuv≡伯≡9≡24≡世界交在惡人手中；蒙蔽世界審判官的臉，若不是他，是誰呢？
rsv≡伯≡9≡24≡The earth is given into the hand of the wicked; he covers the faces of its judges -- if it is not he, who then is it?
cuv≡伯≡9≡25≡我的日子比跑信的更快，急速過去，不見福樂。
rsv≡伯≡9≡25≡'My days are swifter than a runner; they flee away, they see no good.
cuv≡伯≡9≡26≡我的日子過去如快船，如急落抓食的鷹。
rsv≡伯≡9≡26≡They go by like skiffs of reed, like an eagle swooping on the prey.
cuv≡伯≡9≡27≡我若說：我要忘記我的哀情，除去我的愁容，心中暢快；
rsv≡伯≡9≡27≡If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will put off my sad countenance, and be of good cheer,'

rsv≡伯≡9≡28≡I become afraid of all my suffering, for I know thou wilt not hold me innocent.

cuv≡伯≡9≡30≡我若用雪水洗身，用鹼潔淨我的手，

rsv≡伯≡9≡31≡yet thou wilt plunge me into a pit, and my own clothes will abhor me.
cuv≡伯≡9≡32≡他本不像我是人，使我可以回答他，又使我們可以同聽審判。
rsv≡伯≡9≡32≡For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him, that we should come to trial together.
cuv≡伯≡9≡33≡我們中間沒有聽訟的人可以向我們兩造按手。
rsv≡伯≡9≡33≡There is no umpire between us, who might lay his hand upon us both.
cuv≡伯≡9≡34≡願他把杖離開我，不使驚惶威嚇我。

rsv≡伯≡10≡4≡Hast thou eyes of flesh? Dost thou see as man sees?
cuv≡伯≡10≡5≡你的日子豈像人的日子，你的年歲豈像人的年歲，

rsv≡伯≡10≡11≡Thou didst clothe me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews.
cuv≡伯≡10≡12≡你將生命和慈愛賜給我；你也眷顧保全我的心靈。
rsv≡伯≡10≡12≡Thou hast granted me life and steadfast love; and thy care has preserved my spirit.
cuv≡伯≡10≡13≡然而，你待我的這些事早已藏在你心裡；我知道你久有此意。
rsv≡伯≡10≡13≡Yet these things thou didst hide in thy heart; I know that this was thy purpose.

cuv≡伯≡10≡20≡我的日子不是甚少麼？求你停手寬容我，叫我在往而不返之先，就是往黑暗和死蔭之地以先可以稍得暢快。

cuv≡伯≡11≡2≡這許多的言語豈不該回答麼？多嘴多舌的人豈可稱為義麼？
rsv≡伯≡11≡2≡'Should a multitude of words go unanswered, and a man full of talk be vindicated?
cuv≡伯≡11≡3≡你誇大的話豈能使人不作聲麼？你戲笑的時候豈沒有人叫你害羞麼？
rsv≡伯≡11≡3≡Should your babble silence men, and when you mock, shall no one shame you?
cuv≡伯≡11≡4≡你說：我的道理純全；我在你眼前潔淨。
rsv≡伯≡11≡4≡For you say, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in God's eyes.'
cuv≡伯≡11≡5≡惟願神說話；願他開口攻擊你，
rsv≡伯≡11≡5≡But oh, that God would speak, and open his lips to you,
cuv≡伯≡11≡6≡並將智慧的奧秘指示你；他有諸般的智識。所以當知道神追討你比你罪孽該得的還少。
rsv≡伯≡11≡6≡and that he would tell you the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know then that God exacts of you less than your guilt deserves.

rsv≡伯≡11≡7≡'Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?

cuv≡伯≡11≡10≡他若經過，將人拘禁，招人受審，誰能阻擋他呢？
rsv≡伯≡11≡10≡If he passes through, and imprisons, and calls to judgment, who can hinder him?
cuv≡伯≡11≡11≡他本知道虛妄的人；人的罪孽，他雖不留意，還是無所不見。
rsv≡伯≡11≡11≡For he knows worthless men; when he sees iniquity, will he not consider it?
cuv≡伯≡11≡12≡空虛的人卻毫無知識；人生在世好像野驢的駒子。
rsv≡伯≡11≡12≡But a stupid man will get understanding, when a wild ass's colt is born a man.
cuv≡伯≡11≡13≡你若將心安正，又向主舉手；
rsv≡伯≡11≡13≡'If you set your heart aright, you will stretch out your hands toward him.
cuv≡伯≡11≡14≡你手裡若有罪孽，就當遠遠的除掉，也不容非義住在你帳棚之中。
rsv≡伯≡11≡14≡If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in your tents.
cuv≡伯≡11≡15≡那時，你必仰起臉來毫無斑點；你也必堅固，無所懼怕。
rsv≡伯≡11≡15≡Surely then you will lift up your face without blemish; you will be secure, and will not fear.

rsv≡伯≡11≡19≡You will lie down, and none will make you afraid; many will entreat your favor.

rsv≡伯≡12≡2≡'No doubt you are the people, and wisdom will die with you.
cuv≡伯≡12≡3≡但我也有聰明，與你們一樣，並非不及你們。你們所說的，誰不知道呢？
rsv≡伯≡12≡3≡But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know such things as these?
cuv≡伯≡12≡4≡我這求告神、蒙他應允的人竟成了朋友所譏笑的；公義完全人竟受了人的譏笑。
rsv≡伯≡12≡4≡I am a laughingstock to my friends; I, who called upon God and he answered me, a just and blameless man, am a laughingstock.

rsv≡伯≡12≡5≡In the thought of one who is at ease there is contempt for misfortune; it is ready for those whose feet slip.

rsv≡伯≡12≡6≡The tents of robbers are at peace, and those who provoke God are secure, who bring their god in their hand.

cuv≡伯≡12≡11≡耳朵豈不試驗言語，正如上膛嘗食物麼？
rsv≡伯≡12≡11≡Does not the ear try words as the palate tastes food?
cuv≡伯≡12≡12≡年老的有智慧；壽高的有知識。
rsv≡伯≡12≡12≡Wisdom is with the aged, and understanding in length of days.
cuv≡伯≡12≡13≡在神有智慧和能力；他有謀略和知識。
rsv≡伯≡12≡13≡'With God are wisdom and might; he has counsel and understanding.
cuv≡伯≡12≡14≡他拆毀的，就不能再建造；他捆住人，便不得開釋。
rsv≡伯≡12≡14≡If he tears down, none can rebuild; if he shuts a man in, none can open.
cuv≡伯≡12≡15≡他把水留住，水便枯乾；他再發出水來，水就翻地。
rsv≡伯≡12≡15≡If he withholds the waters, they dry up; if he sends them out, they overwhelm the land.
cuv≡伯≡12≡16≡在他有能力和智慧，被誘惑的與誘惑人的都是屬他。
rsv≡伯≡12≡16≡With him are strength and wisdom; the deceived and the deceiver are his.
cuv≡伯≡12≡17≡他把謀士剝衣擄去，又使審判官變成愚人。
rsv≡伯≡12≡17≡He leads counselors away stripped, and judges he makes fools.
cuv≡伯≡12≡18≡他放鬆君王的綁，又用帶子捆他們的腰。
rsv≡伯≡12≡18≡He looses the bonds of kings, and binds a waistcloth on their loins.
cuv≡伯≡12≡19≡他把祭司剝衣擄去，又使有能的人傾敗。
rsv≡伯≡12≡19≡He leads priests away stripped, and overthrows the mighty.
cuv≡伯≡12≡20≡他廢去忠信人的講論，又奪去老人的聰明。
rsv≡伯≡12≡20≡He deprives of speech those who are trusted, and takes away the discernment of the elders.
cuv≡伯≡12≡21≡他使君王蒙羞被辱，放鬆有力之人的腰帶。
rsv≡伯≡12≡21≡He pours contempt on princes, and looses the belt of the strong.
cuv≡伯≡12≡22≡他將深奧的事從黑暗中彰顯，使死蔭顯為光明。
rsv≡伯≡12≡22≡He uncovers the deeps out of darkness, and brings deep darkness to light.
cuv≡伯≡12≡23≡他使邦國興旺而又毀滅；他使邦國開廣而又擄去。
rsv≡伯≡12≡23≡He makes nations great, and he destroys them: he enlarges nations, and leads them away.
cuv≡伯≡12≡24≡他將地上民中首領的聰明奪去，使他們在荒廢無路之地漂流；
rsv≡伯≡12≡24≡He takes away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the earth, and makes them wander in a pathless waste.
cuv≡伯≡12≡25≡他們無光，在黑暗中摸索，又使他們東倒西歪，像醉酒的人一樣。
rsv≡伯≡12≡25≡They grope in the dark without light; and he makes them stagger like a drunken man.
cuv≡伯≡13≡1≡這一切，我眼都見過；我耳都聽過，而且明白。
rsv≡伯≡13≡1≡'Lo, my eye has seen all this, my ear has heard and understood it.
cuv≡伯≡13≡2≡你們所知道的，我也知道，並非不及你們。

cuv≡伯≡13≡4≡你們是編造謊言的，都是無用的醫生。
rsv≡伯≡13≡4≡As for you, you whitewash with lies; worthless physicians are you all.
cuv≡伯≡13≡5≡惟願你們全然不作聲；這就算為你們的智慧！
rsv≡伯≡13≡5≡Oh that you would keep silent, and it would be your wisdom!
cuv≡伯≡13≡6≡請你們聽我的辯論，留心聽我口中的分訴。
rsv≡伯≡13≡6≡Hear now my reasoning, and listen to the pleadings of my lips.
cuv≡伯≡13≡7≡你們要為神說不義的話麼？為他說詭詐的言語麼？
rsv≡伯≡13≡7≡Will you speak falsely for God, and speak deceitfully for him?
cuv≡伯≡13≡8≡你們要為神徇情麼？要為他爭論麼？
rsv≡伯≡13≡8≡Will you show partiality toward him, will you plead the case for God?
cuv≡伯≡13≡9≡他查出你們來，這豈是好麼？人欺哄人，你們也要照樣欺哄他麼？
rsv≡伯≡13≡9≡Will it be well with you when he searches you out? Or can you deceive him, as one deceives a man?
cuv≡伯≡13≡10≡你們若暗中徇情，他必要責備你們。
rsv≡伯≡13≡10≡He will surely rebuke you if in secret you show partiality.
cuv≡伯≡13≡11≡他的尊榮豈不叫你們懼怕麼？他的驚嚇豈不臨到你們麼？

cuv≡伯≡13≡27≡也把我的腳上了木狗，並窺察我一切的道路，為我的腳掌劃定界限。
rsv≡伯≡13≡27≡Thou puttest my feet in the stocks, and watchest all my paths; thou settest a bound to the soles of my feet.

cuv≡伯≡14≡5≡人的日子既然限定，他的月數在你那裡，你也派定他的界限，使他不能越過，

rsv≡伯≡14≡7≡'For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease.

rsv≡伯≡14≡8≡Though its root grow old in the earth, and its stump die in the ground,
cuv≡伯≡14≡9≡及至得了水氣，還要發芽，又長枝條，像新栽的樹一樣。

cuv≡伯≡14≡12≡人也是如此，躺下不再起來，等到天沒有了，仍不得復醒，也不得從睡中喚醒。
rsv≡伯≡14≡12≡so man lies down and rises not again; till the heavens are no more he will not awake, or be roused out of his sleep.

cuv≡伯≡21≡16≡看哪，他們亨通不在乎自己；惡人所謀定的離我好遠。
rsv≡伯≡21≡16≡Behold, is not their prosperity in their hand? The counsel of the wicked is far from me.
cuv≡伯≡21≡17≡惡人的燈何嘗熄滅？患難何嘗臨到他們呢？神何嘗發怒，向他們分散災禍呢？
rsv≡伯≡21≡17≡'How often is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? That their calamity comes upon them? That God distributes pains in his anger?

cuv≡伯≡21≡23≡有人至死身體強壯，盡得平靖安逸；
rsv≡伯≡21≡23≡One dies in full prosperity, being wholly at ease and secure,

rsv≡伯≡21≡28≡For you say, Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked dwelt?'

rsv≡伯≡21≡29≡Have you not asked those who travel the roads, and do you not accept their testimony

rsv≡伯≡21≡30≡that the wicked man is spared in the day of calamity, that he is rescued in the day of wrath?
cuv≡伯≡21≡31≡他所行的，有誰當面給他說明？他所作的，有誰報應他呢？
rsv≡伯≡21≡31≡Who declares his way to his face, and who requites him for what he has done?
cuv≡伯≡21≡32≡然而他要被抬到塋地；並有人看守墳墓。
rsv≡伯≡21≡32≡When he is borne to the grave, watch is kept over his tomb.
cuv≡伯≡21≡33≡他要以谷中的土塊為甘甜；在他以先去的無數，在他以後去的更多。
rsv≡伯≡21≡33≡The clods of the valley are sweet to him; all men follow after him, and those who go before him are innumerable.

cuv≡伯≡22≡2≡人豈能使神有益呢？智慧人但能有益於己。
rsv≡伯≡22≡2≡'Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.
cuv≡伯≡22≡3≡你為人公義，豈叫全能者喜悅呢？你行為完全，豈能使他得利呢？
rsv≡伯≡22≡3≡Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are righteous, or is it gain to him if you make your ways blameless?
cuv≡伯≡22≡4≡豈是因你敬畏他就責備你、審判你麼？
rsv≡伯≡22≡4≡Is it for your fear of him that he reproves you, and enters into judgment with you?
cuv≡伯≡22≡5≡你的罪惡豈不是大麼？你的罪孽也沒有窮盡；
rsv≡伯≡22≡5≡Is not your wickedness great? There is no end to your iniquities.
cuv≡伯≡22≡6≡因你無故強取弟兄的物為當頭，剝去貧寒人的衣服。
rsv≡伯≡22≡6≡For you have exacted pledges of your brothers for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.
cuv≡伯≡22≡7≡困乏的人，你沒有給他水喝；飢餓的人，你沒有給他食物。
rsv≡伯≡22≡7≡You have given no water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.
cuv≡伯≡22≡8≡有能力的人就得地土；尊貴的人也住在其中。
rsv≡伯≡22≡8≡The man with power possessed the land, and the favored man dwelt in it.
cuv≡伯≡22≡9≡你打發寡婦空手回去，折斷孤兒的膀臂。
rsv≡伯≡22≡9≡You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless were crushed.
cuv≡伯≡22≡10≡因此，有網羅環繞你，有恐懼忽然使你驚惶；
rsv≡伯≡22≡10≡Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden terror overwhelms you;

rsv≡伯≡22≡13≡Therefore you say, What does God know? Can he judge through the deep darkness?
cuv≡伯≡22≡14≡密雲將他遮蓋，使他不能看見；他周遊穹蒼。
rsv≡伯≡22≡14≡Thick clouds enwrap him, so that he does not see, and he walks on the vault of heaven.'

cuv≡伯≡22≡16≡他們未到死期，忽然除滅；根基毀壞，好像被江河沖去。
rsv≡伯≡22≡16≡They were snatched away before their time; their foundation was washed away.
cuv≡伯≡22≡17≡他們向神說：離開我們吧！又說：全能者能把我們怎麼樣呢？

rsv≡伯≡22≡18≡Yet he filled their houses with good things -- but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
cuv≡伯≡22≡19≡義人看見他們的結局就歡喜；無辜的人嗤笑他們，
rsv≡伯≡22≡19≡The righteous see it and are glad; the innocent laugh them to scorn,

rsv≡伯≡22≡24≡if you lay gold in the dust, and gold of Ophir among the stones of the torrent bed,
cuv≡伯≡22≡25≡全能者就必為你的珍寶，作你的寶銀。
rsv≡伯≡22≡25≡and if the Almighty is your gold, and your precious silver;
cuv≡伯≡22≡26≡你就要以全能者為喜樂，向神仰起臉來。
rsv≡伯≡22≡26≡then you will delight yourself in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God.
cuv≡伯≡22≡27≡你要禱告他，他就聽你；你也要還你的願。
rsv≡伯≡22≡27≡You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you; and you will pay your vows.

cuv≡伯≡22≡29≡人使你降卑，你仍可說：必得高升；謙卑的人，神必然拯救。
rsv≡伯≡22≡29≡For God abases the proud, but he saves the lowly.
cuv≡伯≡22≡30≡人非無辜，神且要搭救他；他因你手中清潔，必蒙拯救。
rsv≡伯≡22≡30≡He delivers the innocent man; you will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.'

rsv≡伯≡23≡2≡'Today also my complaint is bitter, his hand is heavy in spite of my groaning.
cuv≡伯≡23≡3≡惟願我能知道在那裡可以尋見神，能到他的臺前，
rsv≡伯≡23≡3≡Oh, that I knew where I might find him, that I might come even to his seat!

cuv≡伯≡23≡7≡在他那裡正直人可以與他辯論；這樣，我必永遠脫離那審判我的。

rsv≡伯≡25≡3≡Is there any number to his armies? Upon whom does his light not arise?
cuv≡伯≡25≡4≡這樣在神面前，人怎能稱義？婦人所生的怎能潔淨？

rsv≡伯≡26≡3≡How you have counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

rsv≡伯≡27≡9≡Will God hear his cry, when trouble comes upon him?
cuv≡伯≡27≡10≡他豈以全能者為樂，隨時求告神呢？
rsv≡伯≡27≡10≡Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call upon God at all times?
cuv≡伯≡27≡11≡神的作為，我要指教你們；全能者所行的，我也不隱瞞。
rsv≡伯≡27≡11≡I will teach you concerning the hand of God; what is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
cuv≡伯≡27≡12≡你們自己也都見過，為何全然變為虛妄呢？
rsv≡伯≡27≡12≡Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?
cuv≡伯≡27≡13≡神為惡人所定的分，強暴人從全能者所得的報（原文是產業）乃是這樣：
rsv≡伯≡27≡13≡'This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage which oppressors receive from the Almighty:
cuv≡伯≡27≡14≡倘或他的兒女增多，還是被刀所殺；他的子孫必不得飽食。
rsv≡伯≡27≡14≡If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword; and his offspring have not enough to eat.
cuv≡伯≡27≡15≡他所遺留的人必死而埋葬；他的寡婦也不哀哭。
rsv≡伯≡27≡15≡Those who survive him the pestilence buries, and their widows make no lamentation.

rsv≡伯≡28≡1≡'Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold which they refine.

rsv≡伯≡28≡2≡Iron is taken out of the earth, and copper is smelted from the ore.

rsv≡伯≡28≡3≡Men put an end to darkness, and search out to the farthest bound the ore in gloom and deep darkness.

rsv≡伯≡28≡4≡They open shafts in a valley away from where men live; they are forgotten by travelers, they hang afar from men, they swing to and fro.

cuv≡伯≡28≡13≡智慧的價值無人能知，在活人之地也無處可尋。
rsv≡伯≡28≡13≡Man does not know the way to it, and it is not found in the land of the living.
cuv≡伯≡28≡14≡深淵說：不在我內；滄海說：不在我中。
rsv≡伯≡28≡14≡The deep says, It is not in me,' and the sea says, It is not with me.'
cuv≡伯≡28≡15≡智慧非用黃金可得，也不能平白銀為他的價值。
rsv≡伯≡28≡15≡It cannot be gotten for gold, and silver cannot be weighed as its price.
cuv≡伯≡28≡16≡俄斐金和貴重的紅瑪瑙，並藍寶石，不足與較量；
rsv≡伯≡28≡16≡It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx or sapphire.
cuv≡伯≡28≡17≡黃金和玻璃不足與比較；精金的器皿不足與兌換。
rsv≡伯≡28≡17≡Gold and glass cannot equal it, nor can it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.
cuv≡伯≡28≡18≡珊瑚、水晶都不足論；智慧的價值勝過珍珠（或作：紅寶石）。
rsv≡伯≡28≡18≡No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; the price of wisdom is above pearls.

cuv≡伯≡31≡5≡我若與虛謊同行，腳若追隨詭詐；
rsv≡伯≡31≡5≡'If I have walked with falsehood, and my foot has hastened to deceit;

rsv≡伯≡34≡10≡'Therefore, hear me, you men of understanding, far be it from God that he should do wickedness, and from the Almighty that he should do wrong.

rsv≡伯≡34≡11≡For according to the work of a man he will requite him, and according to his ways he will make it befall him.
cuv≡伯≡34≡12≡神必不作惡；全能者也不偏離公平。
rsv≡伯≡34≡12≡Of a truth, God will not do wickedly, and the Almighty will not pervert justice.
cuv≡伯≡34≡13≡誰派他治理地，安定全世界呢？
rsv≡伯≡34≡13≡Who gave him charge over the earth and who laid on him the whole world?
cuv≡伯≡34≡14≡他若專心為己，將靈和氣收歸自己，
rsv≡伯≡34≡14≡If he should take back his spirit to himself, and gather to himself his breath,
cuv≡伯≡34≡15≡凡有血氣的就必一同死亡；世人必仍歸塵土。
rsv≡伯≡34≡15≡all flesh would perish together, and man would return to dust.
cuv≡伯≡34≡16≡你若明理，就當聽我的話，留心聽我言語的聲音。
rsv≡伯≡34≡16≡'If you have understanding, hear this; listen to what I say.
cuv≡伯≡34≡17≡難道恨惡公平的可以掌權麼？那有公義的、有大能的，豈可定他有罪麼？
rsv≡伯≡34≡17≡Shall one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty,
cuv≡伯≡34≡18≡他對君王說：你是鄙陋的；對貴臣說：你是邪惡的。
rsv≡伯≡34≡18≡who says to a king, Worthless one,' and to nobles, Wicked man';
cuv≡伯≡34≡19≡他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的過於貧窮的，因為都是他手所造。
rsv≡伯≡34≡19≡who shows no partiality to princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor, for they are all the work of his hands?
cuv≡伯≡34≡20≡在轉眼之間，半夜之中，他們就死亡。百姓被震動而去世；有權力的被奪去非借人手。
rsv≡伯≡34≡20≡In a moment they die; at midnight the people are shaken and pass away, and the mighty are taken away by no human hand.

rsv≡伯≡34≡29≡When he is quiet, who can condemn? When he hides his face, who can behold him, whether it be a nation or a man? --

cuv≡伯≡34≡31≡有誰對神說：我受了責罰，不再犯罪；
rsv≡伯≡34≡31≡'For has any one said to God, I have borne chastisement; I will not offend any more;
cuv≡伯≡34≡32≡我所看不明的，求你指教我；我若作了孽，必不再作？
rsv≡伯≡34≡32≡teach me what I do not see; if I have done iniquity, I will do it no more'?
cuv≡伯≡34≡33≡他施行報應，豈要隨你的心願、叫你推辭不受麼？選定的是你，不是我。你所知道的只管說吧！
rsv≡伯≡34≡33≡Will he then make requital to suit you, because you reject it? For you must choose, and not I; therefore declare what you know.
cuv≡伯≡34≡34≡明理的人和聽我話的智慧人必對我說：
rsv≡伯≡34≡34≡Men of understanding will say to me, and the wise man who hears me will say:
cuv≡伯≡34≡35≡約伯說話沒有知識，言語中毫無智慧。
rsv≡伯≡34≡35≡Job speaks without knowledge, his words are without insight.'
cuv≡伯≡34≡36≡願約伯被試驗到底，因他回答像惡人一樣。
rsv≡伯≡34≡36≡Would that Job were tried to the end, because he answers like wicked men.
cuv≡伯≡34≡37≡他在罪上又加悖逆；在我們中間拍手，用許多言語輕慢神。
rsv≡伯≡34≡37≡For he adds rebellion to his sin; he claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.'

rsv≡伯≡35≡1≡And Eli'hu said:
cuv≡伯≡35≡2≡你以為有理，或以為你的公義勝於神的公義，
rsv≡伯≡35≡2≡'Do you think this to be just? Do you say, It is my right before God,'
cuv≡伯≡35≡3≡纔說這與我有甚麼益處？我不犯罪比犯罪有甚麼好處呢？
rsv≡伯≡35≡3≡that you ask, What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?'
cuv≡伯≡35≡4≡我要回答你和在你這裡的朋友。
rsv≡伯≡35≡4≡I will answer you and your friends with you.
cuv≡伯≡35≡5≡你要向天觀看，瞻望那高於你的穹蒼。
rsv≡伯≡35≡5≡Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you.
cuv≡伯≡35≡6≡你若犯罪，能使神受何害呢？你的過犯加增，能使神受何損呢？
rsv≡伯≡35≡6≡If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
cuv≡伯≡35≡7≡你若是公義，還能加增他甚麼呢？他從你手裡還接受甚麼呢？
rsv≡伯≡35≡7≡If you are righteous, what do you give to him; or what does he receive from your hand?
cuv≡伯≡35≡8≡你的過惡或能害你這類的人；你的公義或能叫世人得益處。
rsv≡伯≡35≡8≡Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.
cuv≡伯≡35≡9≡人因多受欺壓就哀求，因受能者的轄制（原文是膀臂）便求救，
rsv≡伯≡35≡9≡'Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty.
cuv≡伯≡35≡10≡卻無人說：造我的神在那裡？他使人夜間歌唱，
rsv≡伯≡35≡10≡But none says, Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
cuv≡伯≡35≡11≡教訓我們勝於地上的走獸，使我們有聰明勝於空中的飛鳥。
rsv≡伯≡35≡11≡who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'
cuv≡伯≡35≡12≡他們在那裡，因惡人的驕傲呼求，卻無人答應。
rsv≡伯≡35≡12≡There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men.
cuv≡伯≡35≡13≡虛妄的呼求，神必不垂聽；全能者也必不眷顧。
rsv≡伯≡35≡13≡Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.

cuv≡伯≡36≡2≡你再容我片時，我就指示你，因我還有話為神說。
rsv≡伯≡36≡2≡'Bear with me a little, and I will show you, for I have yet something to say on God's behalf.
cuv≡伯≡36≡3≡我要將所知道的從遠處引來，將公義歸給造我的主。
rsv≡伯≡36≡3≡I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
cuv≡伯≡36≡4≡我的言語真不虛謊；有知識全備的與你同在。
rsv≡伯≡36≡4≡For truly my words are not false; one who is perfect in knowledge is with you.
cuv≡伯≡36≡5≡神有大能，並不藐視人；他的智慧甚廣。
rsv≡伯≡36≡5≡'Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise any; he is mighty in strength of understanding.
cuv≡伯≡36≡6≡他不保護惡人的性命，卻為困苦人伸冤。
rsv≡伯≡36≡6≡He does not keep the wicked alive, but gives the afflicted their right.
cuv≡伯≡36≡7≡他時常看顧義人，使他們和君王同坐寶座，永遠要被高舉。
rsv≡伯≡36≡7≡He does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings upon the throne he sets them for ever, and they are exalted.

rsv≡伯≡36≡8≡And if they are bound in fetters and caught in the cords of affliction,
cuv≡伯≡36≡9≡他就把他們的作為和過犯指示他們，叫他們知道有驕傲的行動。
rsv≡伯≡36≡9≡then he declares to them their work and their transgressions, that they are behaving arrogantly.
cuv≡伯≡36≡10≡他也開通他們的耳朵得受教訓，吩咐他們離開罪孽轉回。
rsv≡伯≡36≡10≡He opens their ears to instruction, and commands that they return from iniquity.
cuv≡伯≡36≡11≡他們若聽從事奉他，就必度日亨通，歷年福樂；
rsv≡伯≡36≡11≡If they hearken and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness.
cuv≡伯≡36≡12≡若不聽從，就要被刀殺滅，無知無識而死。
rsv≡伯≡36≡12≡But if they do not hearken, they perish by the sword, and die without knowledge.
cuv≡伯≡36≡13≡那心中不敬虔的人積蓄怒氣；神捆綁他們，他們竟不求救；
rsv≡伯≡36≡13≡'The godless in heart cherish anger; they do not cry for help when he binds them.
cuv≡伯≡36≡14≡必在青年時死亡，與污穢人一樣喪命。
rsv≡伯≡36≡14≡They die in youth, and their life ends in shame.
cuv≡伯≡36≡15≡神藉著困苦救拔困苦人，趁他們受欺壓開通他們的耳朵。

rsv≡伯≡36≡17≡'But you are full of the judgment on the wicked; judgment and justice seize you.
cuv≡伯≡36≡18≡不可容忿怒觸動你，使你不服責罰；也不可因贖價大就偏行。
rsv≡伯≡36≡18≡Beware lest wrath entice you into scoffing; and let not the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.
cuv≡伯≡36≡19≡你的呼求（或作：資財），或是你一切的勢力，果有靈驗，叫你不受患難麼？
rsv≡伯≡36≡19≡Will your cry avail to keep you from distress, or all the force of your strength?
cuv≡伯≡36≡20≡不要切慕黑夜，就是眾民在本處被除滅的時候。

rsv≡伯≡36≡21≡Take heed, do not turn to iniquity, for this you have chosen rather than affliction.
cuv≡伯≡36≡22≡神行事有高大的能力；教訓人的有誰像他呢？
rsv≡伯≡36≡22≡Behold, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him?
cuv≡伯≡36≡23≡誰派定他的道路？誰能說：你所行的不義？
rsv≡伯≡36≡23≡Who has prescribed for him his way, or who can say, Thou hast done wrong'?

cuv≡伯≡36≡26≡神為大，我們不能全知；他的年數不能測度。
rsv≡伯≡36≡26≡Behold, God is great, and we know him not; the number of his years is unsearchable.

rsv≡伯≡36≡27≡For he draws up the drops of water, he distils his mist in rain

rsv≡伯≡36≡29≡Can any one understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?
cuv≡伯≡36≡30≡他將亮光普照在自己的四圍；他又遮覆海底。
rsv≡伯≡36≡30≡Behold, he scatters his lightning about him, and covers the roots of the sea.
cuv≡伯≡36≡31≡他用這些審判眾民，且賜豐富的糧食。
rsv≡伯≡36≡31≡For by these he judges peoples; he gives food in abundance.
cuv≡伯≡36≡32≡他以電光遮手，命閃電擊中敵人（或作：中了靶子）。
rsv≡伯≡36≡32≡He covers his hands with the lightning, and commands it to strike the mark.

rsv≡伯≡37≡12≡They turn round and round by his guidance, to accomplish all that he commands them on the face of the habitable world.

rsv≡伯≡37≡13≡Whether for correction, or for his land, or for love, he causes it to happen.

rsv≡伯≡37≡16≡Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him who is perfect in knowledge,
cuv≡伯≡37≡17≡南風使地寂靜，你的衣服就如火熱，你知道麼？
rsv≡伯≡37≡17≡you whose garments are hot when the earth is still because of the south wind?
cuv≡伯≡37≡18≡你豈能與神同鋪穹蒼麼？這穹蒼堅硬，如同鑄成的鏡子。

cuv≡伯≡37≡21≡現在有雲遮蔽，人不得見穹蒼的光亮；但風吹過，天又發晴。
rsv≡伯≡37≡21≡'And now men cannot look on the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them.

rsv≡伯≡38≡6≡On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone,
cuv≡伯≡38≡7≡那時，晨星一同歌唱；神的眾子也都歡呼。
rsv≡伯≡38≡7≡when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
cuv≡伯≡38≡8≡海水衝出，如出胎胞，那時誰將他關閉呢？
rsv≡伯≡38≡8≡'Or who shut in the sea with doors, when it burst forth from the womb;
cuv≡伯≡38≡9≡是我用雲彩當海的衣服，用幽暗當包裹他的布，

cuv≡伯≡39≡7≡他嗤笑城內的喧嚷，不聽趕牲口的喝聲。
rsv≡伯≡39≡7≡He scorns the tumult of the city; he hears not the shouts of the driver.
cuv≡伯≡39≡8≡遍山是他的草場；他尋找各樣青綠之物。
rsv≡伯≡39≡8≡He ranges the mountains as his pasture, and he searches after every green thing.
cuv≡伯≡39≡9≡野牛豈肯服事你？豈肯住在你的槽旁？
rsv≡伯≡39≡9≡'Is the wild ox willing to serve you? Will he spend the night at your crib?
cuv≡伯≡39≡10≡你豈能用套繩將野牛籠在犁溝之間？他豈肯隨你耙山谷之地？
rsv≡伯≡39≡10≡Can you bind him in the furrow with ropes, or will he harrow the valleys after you?

rsv≡伯≡39≡11≡Will you depend on him because his strength is great, and will you leave to him your labor?
cuv≡伯≡39≡12≡豈可信靠他把你的糧食運到家，又收聚你禾場上的榖麼？
rsv≡伯≡39≡12≡Do you have faith in him that he will return, and bring your grain to your threshing floor?
cuv≡伯≡39≡13≡鴕鳥的翅膀歡然搧展，豈是顯慈愛的翎毛和羽毛麼？
rsv≡伯≡39≡13≡'The wings of the ostrich wave proudly; but are they the pinions and plumage of love?
cuv≡伯≡39≡14≡因他把蛋留在地上，在塵土中使得溫暖；
rsv≡伯≡39≡14≡For she leaves her eggs to the earth, and lets them be warmed on the ground,
cuv≡伯≡39≡15≡卻想不到被腳踹碎，或被野獸踐踏。
rsv≡伯≡39≡15≡forgetting that a foot may crush them, and that the wild beast may trample them.
cuv≡伯≡39≡16≡他忍心待雛，似乎不是自己的；雖然徒受勞苦，也不為雛懼怕；
rsv≡伯≡39≡16≡She deals cruelly with her young, as if they were not hers; though her labor be in vain, yet she has no fear;
cuv≡伯≡39≡17≡因為神使他沒有智慧，也未將悟性賜給他。
rsv≡伯≡39≡17≡because God has made her forget wisdom, and given her no share in understanding.
cuv≡伯≡39≡18≡他幾時挺身展開翅膀，就嗤笑馬和騎馬的人。
rsv≡伯≡39≡18≡When she rouses herself to flee, she laughs at the horse and his rider.
cuv≡伯≡39≡19≡馬的大力是你所賜的麼？他頸項上挓挲的鬃是你給他披上的麼？
rsv≡伯≡39≡19≡'Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with strength?
cuv≡伯≡39≡20≡是你叫他跳躍像蝗蟲麼？他噴氣之威使人驚惶。
rsv≡伯≡39≡20≡Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrible.
cuv≡伯≡39≡21≡他在谷中刨地，自喜其力；他出去迎接佩帶兵器的人。
rsv≡伯≡39≡21≡He paws in the valley, and exults in his strength; he goes out to meet the weapons.
cuv≡伯≡39≡22≡他嗤笑可怕的事並不驚惶，也不因刀劍退回。
rsv≡伯≡39≡22≡He laughs at fear, and is not dismayed; he does not turn back from the sword.
cuv≡伯≡39≡23≡箭袋和發亮的槍，並短槍在他身上錚錚有聲。
rsv≡伯≡39≡23≡Upon him rattle the quiver, the flashing spear and the javelin.
cuv≡伯≡39≡24≡他發猛烈的怒氣將地吞下；一聽角聲就不耐站立。
rsv≡伯≡39≡24≡With fierceness and rage he swallows the ground; he cannot stand still at the sound of the trumpet.
cuv≡伯≡39≡25≡角每發聲，他說呵哈；他從遠處聞著戰氣，又聽見軍長大發雷聲和兵丁吶喊。
rsv≡伯≡39≡25≡When the trumpet sounds, he says Aha!' He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of the captains, and the shouting.
cuv≡伯≡39≡26≡鷹雀飛翔，展開翅膀一直向南，豈是藉你的智慧麼？
rsv≡伯≡39≡26≡'Is it by your wisdom that the hawk soars, and spreads his wings toward the south?
cuv≡伯≡39≡27≡大鷹上騰在高處搭窩，豈是聽你的吩咐麼？
rsv≡伯≡39≡27≡Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes his nest on high?
cuv≡伯≡39≡28≡他住在山巖，以山峰和堅固之所為家，
rsv≡伯≡39≡28≡On the rock he dwells and makes his home in the fastness of the rocky crag.
cuv≡伯≡39≡29≡從那裡窺看食物，眼睛遠遠觀望。
rsv≡伯≡39≡29≡Thence he spies out the prey; his eyes behold it afar off.
cuv≡伯≡39≡30≡他的雛也咂血；被殺的人在那裡，他也在那裡。
rsv≡伯≡39≡30≡His young ones suck up blood; and where the slain are, there is he.'
cuv≡伯≡40≡1≡耶和華又對約伯說：
rsv≡伯≡40≡1≡And the LORD said to Job:
cuv≡伯≡40≡2≡強辯的豈可與全能者爭論麼？與神辯駁的可以回答這些吧！
rsv≡伯≡40≡2≡'Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.'
cuv≡伯≡40≡3≡於是，約伯回答耶和華說：
rsv≡伯≡40≡3≡Then Job answered the LORD:
cuv≡伯≡40≡4≡我是卑賤的！我用甚麼回答你呢？只好用手摀口。
rsv≡伯≡40≡4≡'Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.
cuv≡伯≡40≡5≡我說了一次，再不回答；說了兩次，就不再說。
rsv≡伯≡40≡5≡I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.'
cuv≡伯≡40≡6≡於是，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯說：
rsv≡伯≡40≡6≡Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind:
cuv≡伯≡40≡7≡你要如勇士束腰；我問你，你可以指示我。
rsv≡伯≡40≡7≡'Gird up your loins like a man; I will question you, and you declare to me.
cuv≡伯≡40≡8≡你豈可廢棄我所擬定的？豈可定我有罪，好顯自己為義麼？
rsv≡伯≡40≡8≡Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?
cuv≡伯≡40≡9≡你有神那樣的膀臂麼？你能像他發雷聲麼？
rsv≡伯≡40≡9≡Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
cuv≡伯≡40≡10≡你要以榮耀莊嚴為妝飾，以尊榮威嚴為衣服；
rsv≡伯≡40≡10≡'Deck yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.
cuv≡伯≡40≡11≡要發出你滿溢的怒氣，見一切驕傲的人，使他降卑；
rsv≡伯≡40≡11≡Pour forth the overflowings of your anger, and look on every one that is proud, and abase him.
cuv≡伯≡40≡12≡見一切驕傲的人，將他制伏，把惡人踐踏在本處；
rsv≡伯≡40≡12≡Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked where they stand.
cuv≡伯≡40≡13≡將他們一同隱藏在塵土中，把他們的臉蒙蔽在隱密處；
rsv≡伯≡40≡13≡Hide them all in the dust together; bind their faces in the world below.
cuv≡伯≡40≡14≡我就認你右手能以救自己。
rsv≡伯≡40≡14≡Then will I also acknowledge to you, that your own right hand can give you victory.
cuv≡伯≡40≡15≡你且觀看河馬；我造你也造他。他喫草與牛一樣；
rsv≡伯≡40≡15≡'Behold, Be'hemoth, which I made as I made you; he eats grass like an ox.
cuv≡伯≡40≡16≡他的氣力在腰間，能力在肚腹的筋上。
rsv≡伯≡40≡16≡Behold, his strength in his loins, and his power in the muscles of his belly.
cuv≡伯≡40≡17≡他搖動尾巴如香柏樹；他大腿的筋互相聯絡。
rsv≡伯≡40≡17≡He makes his tail stiff like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
cuv≡伯≡40≡18≡他的骨頭好像銅管；他的肢體彷彿鐵棍。
rsv≡伯≡40≡18≡His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like bars of iron.
cuv≡伯≡40≡19≡他在神所造的物中為首；創造他的給他刀劍。
rsv≡伯≡40≡19≡'He is the first of the works of God; let him who made him bring near his sword!
cuv≡伯≡40≡20≡諸山給他出食物，也是百獸遊玩之處。
rsv≡伯≡40≡20≡For the mountains yield food for him where all the wild beasts play.
cuv≡伯≡40≡21≡他伏在蓮葉之下，臥在蘆葦隱密處和水窪子裡。
rsv≡伯≡40≡21≡Under the lotus plants he lies, in the covert of the reeds and in the marsh.
cuv≡伯≡40≡22≡蓮葉的陰涼遮蔽他；溪旁的柳樹環繞他。
rsv≡伯≡40≡22≡For his shade the lotus trees cover him; the willows of the brook surround him.
cuv≡伯≡40≡23≡河水泛濫，他不發戰；就是約但河的水漲到他口邊，也是安然。
rsv≡伯≡40≡23≡Behold, if the river is turbulent he is not frightened; he is confident though Jordan rushes against his mouth.
cuv≡伯≡40≡24≡在他防備的時候，誰能捉拿他？誰能牢籠他穿他的鼻子呢？
rsv≡伯≡40≡24≡Can one take him with hooks, or pierce his nose with a snare?
cuv≡伯≡41≡1≡你能用魚鉤釣上鱷魚麼？能用繩子壓下他的舌頭麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡1≡'Can you draw out Levi'athan with a fishhook, or press down his tongue with a cord?
cuv≡伯≡41≡2≡你能用繩索穿他的鼻子麼？能用鉤穿他的腮骨麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡2≡Can you put a rope in his nose, or pierce his jaw with a hook?
cuv≡伯≡41≡3≡他豈向你連連懇求，說柔和的話麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡3≡Will he make many supplications to you? Will he speak to you soft words?
cuv≡伯≡41≡4≡豈肯與你立約，使你拿他永遠作奴僕麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡4≡Will he make a covenant with you to take him for your servant for ever?
cuv≡伯≡41≡5≡你豈可拿他當雀鳥玩耍麼？豈可為你的幼女將他拴住麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡5≡Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you put him on leash for your maidens?
cuv≡伯≡41≡6≡搭夥的漁夫豈可拿他當貨物麼？能把他分給商人麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡6≡Will traders bargain over him? Will they divide him up among the merchants?
cuv≡伯≡41≡7≡你能用倒鉤槍扎滿他的皮，能用魚叉叉滿他的頭麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡7≡Can you fill his skin with harpoons, or his head with fishing spears?
cuv≡伯≡41≡8≡你按手在他身上，想與他爭戰，就不再這樣行吧！
rsv≡伯≡41≡8≡Lay hands on him; think of the battle;you will not do it again!
cuv≡伯≡41≡9≡人指望捉拿他是徒然的；一見他，豈不喪膽麼？
rsv≡伯≡41≡9≡Behold, the hope of a man is disappointed; he is laid low even at the sight of him.
cuv≡伯≡41≡10≡沒有那麼兇猛的人敢惹他。這樣，誰能在我面前站立得住呢？
rsv≡伯≡41≡10≡No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up. Who then is he that can stand before me?

rsv≡伯≡41≡11≡Who has given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.
cuv≡伯≡41≡12≡論到鱷魚的肢體和其大力，並美好的骨骼，我不能緘默不言。
rsv≡伯≡41≡12≡'I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, or his mighty strength, or his goodly frame.
cuv≡伯≡41≡13≡誰能剝他的外衣？誰能進他上下牙骨之間呢？
rsv≡伯≡41≡13≡Who can strip off his outer garment? Who can penetrate his double coat of mail?

rsv≡伯≡41≡30≡His underparts are like sharp potsherds; he spreads himself like a threshing sledge on the mire.

rsv≡伯≡41≡31≡He makes the deep boil like a pot; he makes the sea like a pot of ointment.
cuv≡伯≡41≡32≡他行的路隨後發光，令人想深淵如同白髮。
rsv≡伯≡41≡32≡Behind him he leaves a shining wake; one would think the deep to be hoary.

cuv≡伯≡42≡2≡我知道，你萬事都能作；你的旨意不能攔阻。
rsv≡伯≡42≡2≡'I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be thwarted.
cuv≡伯≡42≡3≡誰用無知的言語使你的旨意隱藏呢？我所說的是我不明白的；這些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。
rsv≡伯≡42≡3≡Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up
for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant
Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his
prayer not to deal with you according to your
folly;for you
cuv≡伯≡42≡9≡於是提幔人以利法、書亞人比勒達、拿瑪人瑣法照著耶和華所吩咐的去行；耶和華就悅納約伯。
rsv≡伯≡42≡9≡So Eli'phaz the Te'manite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Na'amathite went and did what the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job's prayer.
cuv≡伯≡42≡10≡約伯為他的朋友祈禱。耶和華就使約伯從苦境（原文是擄掠）轉回，並且耶和華賜給他的比他從前所有的加倍。
rsv≡伯≡42≡10≡And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends; and the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
cuv≡伯≡42≡11≡約伯的弟兄、姊妹，和以先所認識的人都來見他，在他家裡一同喫飯；又論到耶和華所降與他的一切災禍，都為他悲傷安慰他。每人也送他一塊銀子和一個金環。
rsv≡伯≡42≡11≡Then came to him all his brothers
and sisters and all who had known him before, and
ate bread with him in his house; and they showed
him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil
that the LORD had brought upon him; and each of
them gave him a piece of money and a ring of gold.
cuv≡伯≡42≡12≡這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千羊，六千駱駝，一千對牛，一千母驢。
rsv≡伯≡42≡12≡And the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; and he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.
cuv≡伯≡42≡13≡他也有七個兒子，三個女兒。
rsv≡伯≡42≡13≡He had also seven sons and three daughters.
cuv≡伯≡42≡14≡他給長女起名叫耶米瑪，次女叫基洗亞，三女叫基連哈樸。
rsv≡伯≡42≡14≡And he called the name of the first Jemi'mah; and the name of the second Kezi'ah;and the name of the third Ker'en-hap'puch.
cuv≡伯≡42≡15≡在那全地的婦女中找不著像約伯的女兒那樣美貌。他們的父親使他們在弟兄中得產業。
rsv≡伯≡42≡15≡And in all the land there were no women so fair as Job's daughters; and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.
cuv≡伯≡42≡16≡此後，約伯又活了一百四十年，得見他的兒孫，直到四代。
rsv≡伯≡42≡16≡And after this Job lived a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, four generations.
cuv≡伯≡42≡17≡這樣，約伯年紀老邁，日子滿足而死。
rsv≡伯≡42≡17≡And Job died, an old man, and full of days.
