rsv≡箴≡1≡1≡The proverbs of Solomon, son of David, king of Israel:
cuv≡箴≡1≡2≡要使人曉得智慧和訓誨，分辨通達的言語，
rsv≡箴≡1≡2≡That men may know wisdom and instruction, understand words of insight,
cuv≡箴≡1≡3≡使人處事領受智慧、仁義、公平、正直的訓誨，
rsv≡箴≡1≡3≡receive instruction in wise dealing, righteousness, justice, and equity;
cuv≡箴≡1≡4≡使愚人靈明，使少年人有知識和謀略，
rsv≡箴≡1≡4≡that prudence may be given to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth --
cuv≡箴≡1≡5≡使智慧人聽見，增長學問，使聰明人得著智謀，
rsv≡箴≡1≡5≡the wise man also may hear and increase in learning, and the man of understanding acquire skill,
cuv≡箴≡1≡6≡使人明白箴言和譬喻，懂得智慧人的言詞和謎語。
rsv≡箴≡1≡6≡to understand a proverb and a figure, the words of the wise and their riddles.
cuv≡箴≡1≡7≡敬畏耶和華是知識的開端；愚妄人藐視智慧和訓誨。
rsv≡箴≡1≡7≡The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
cuv≡箴≡1≡8≡我兒，要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則（或作：指教）；
rsv≡箴≡1≡8≡Hear, my son, your father's instruction, and reject not your mother's teaching;
cuv≡箴≡1≡9≡因為這要作你頭上的華冠，你項上的金鍊。
rsv≡箴≡1≡9≡for they are a fair garland for your head, and pendants for your neck.
cuv≡箴≡1≡10≡我兒，惡人若引誘你，你不可隨從。
rsv≡箴≡1≡10≡My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.
cuv≡箴≡1≡11≡他們若說：你與我們同去，我們要埋伏流人之血，要蹲伏害無罪之人；
rsv≡箴≡1≡11≡If they say, 'Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood, let us wantonly ambush the innocent;
cuv≡箴≡1≡12≡我們好像陰間，把他們活活吞下；他們如同下坑的人，被我們囫圇吞了；
rsv≡箴≡1≡12≡like Sheol let us swallow them alive and whole, like those who go down to the Pit;
cuv≡箴≡1≡13≡我們必得各樣寶物，將所擄來的，裝滿房屋；
rsv≡箴≡1≡13≡we shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with spoil;
cuv≡箴≡1≡14≡你與我們大家同分，我們共用一個囊袋；
rsv≡箴≡1≡14≡throw in your lot among us, we will all have one purse' --
cuv≡箴≡1≡15≡我兒，不要與他們同行一道，禁止你腳走他們的路。
rsv≡箴≡1≡15≡my son, do not walk in the way with them, hold back your foot from their paths;
cuv≡箴≡1≡16≡因為，他們的腳奔跑行惡；他們急速流人的血，
rsv≡箴≡1≡16≡for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.
cuv≡箴≡1≡17≡好像飛鳥，網羅設在眼前仍不躲避。
rsv≡箴≡1≡17≡For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird;
cuv≡箴≡1≡18≡這些人埋伏，是為自流己血；蹲伏，是為自害己命。
rsv≡箴≡1≡18≡but these men lie in wait for their own blood, they set an ambush for their own lives.
cuv≡箴≡1≡19≡凡貪戀財利的，所行之路都是如此；這貪戀之心乃奪去得財者之命。
rsv≡箴≡1≡19≡Such are the ways of all who get gain by violence; it takes away the life of its possessors.
cuv≡箴≡1≡20≡智慧在街市上呼喊，在寬闊處發聲，
rsv≡箴≡1≡20≡Wisdom cries aloud in the street; in the markets she raises her voice;
cuv≡箴≡1≡21≡在熱鬧街頭喊叫，在城門口，在城中發出言語，
rsv≡箴≡1≡21≡on the top of the walls she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:
cuv≡箴≡1≡22≡說：你們愚昧人喜愛愚昧，褻慢人喜歡褻慢，愚頑人恨惡知識，要到幾時呢？
rsv≡箴≡1≡22≡'How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?
cuv≡箴≡1≡23≡你們當因我的責備回轉；我要將我的靈澆灌你們，將我的話指示你們。
rsv≡箴≡1≡23≡Give heed to my reproof; behold, I will pour out my thoughts to you;I will make my words known to you.
cuv≡箴≡1≡24≡我呼喚，你們不肯聽從；我伸手，無人理會；
rsv≡箴≡1≡24≡Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,
cuv≡箴≡1≡25≡反輕棄我一切的勸戒，不肯受我的責備。
rsv≡箴≡1≡25≡and you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof,
cuv≡箴≡1≡26≡你們遭災難，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們，我必嗤笑。
rsv≡箴≡1≡26≡I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when panic strikes you,
cuv≡箴≡1≡27≡驚恐臨到你們，好像狂風；災難來到，如同暴風；急難痛苦臨到你們身上。
rsv≡箴≡1≡27≡when panic strikes you like a storm, and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.
cuv≡箴≡1≡28≡那時，你們必呼求我，我卻不答應，懇切地尋找我，卻尋不見。
rsv≡箴≡1≡28≡Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me.
cuv≡箴≡1≡29≡因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華，
rsv≡箴≡1≡29≡Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,
cuv≡箴≡1≡30≡不聽我的勸戒，藐視我一切的責備，
rsv≡箴≡1≡30≡would have none of my counsel, and despised all my reproof,
cuv≡箴≡1≡31≡所以必喫自結的果子，充滿自設的計謀。
rsv≡箴≡1≡31≡therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way and be sated with their own devices.
cuv≡箴≡1≡32≡愚昧人背道，必殺己身；愚頑人安逸，必害己命。
rsv≡箴≡1≡32≡For the simple are killed by their turning away, and the complacence of fools destroys them;
cuv≡箴≡1≡33≡惟有聽從我的，必安然居住，得享安靜，不怕災禍。
rsv≡箴≡1≡33≡but he who listens to me will dwell secure and will be at ease, without dread of evil.'
cuv≡箴≡2≡1≡我兒，你若領受我的言語，存記我的命令，
rsv≡箴≡2≡1≡My son, if you receive my words and treasure up my commandments with you,
cuv≡箴≡2≡2≡側耳聽智慧，專心求聰明，
rsv≡箴≡2≡2≡making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding;
cuv≡箴≡2≡3≡呼求明哲，揚聲求聰明，
rsv≡箴≡2≡3≡yes, if you cry out for insight and raise your voice for understanding,
cuv≡箴≡2≡4≡尋找他，如尋找銀子，搜求他，如搜求隱藏的珍寶，
rsv≡箴≡2≡4≡if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures;
cuv≡箴≡2≡5≡你就明白敬畏耶和華，得以認識神。
rsv≡箴≡2≡5≡then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
cuv≡箴≡2≡6≡因為，耶和華賜人智慧；知識和聰明都由他口而出。
rsv≡箴≡2≡6≡For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding;
cuv≡箴≡2≡7≡他給正直人存留真智慧，給行為純正的人作盾牌，
rsv≡箴≡2≡7≡he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity,
cuv≡箴≡2≡8≡為要保守公平人的路，護庇虔敬人的道。
rsv≡箴≡2≡8≡guarding the paths of justice and preserving the way of his saints.
cuv≡箴≡2≡9≡你也必明白仁義、公平、正直、一切的善道。
rsv≡箴≡2≡9≡Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path;
cuv≡箴≡2≡10≡智慧必入你心；你的靈要以知識為美。
rsv≡箴≡2≡10≡for wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul;
cuv≡箴≡2≡11≡謀略必護衛你；聰明必保守你，
rsv≡箴≡2≡11≡discretion will watch over you; understanding will guard you;
cuv≡箴≡2≡12≡要救你脫離惡道（或作：惡人的道），脫離說乖謬話的人。
rsv≡箴≡2≡12≡delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,
cuv≡箴≡2≡13≡那等人捨棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，
rsv≡箴≡2≡13≡who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness,
cuv≡箴≡2≡14≡歡喜作惡，喜愛惡人的乖僻，
rsv≡箴≡2≡14≡who rejoice in doing evil and delight in the perverseness of evil;
cuv≡箴≡2≡15≡在他們的道中彎曲，在他們的路上偏僻。
rsv≡箴≡2≡15≡men whose paths are crooked, and who are devious in their ways.
cuv≡箴≡2≡16≡智慧要救你脫離淫婦，就是那油嘴滑舌的外女。
rsv≡箴≡2≡16≡You will be saved from the loose woman, from the adventuress with her smooth words,
cuv≡箴≡2≡17≡他離棄幼年的配偶，忘了神的盟約。
rsv≡箴≡2≡17≡who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God;
cuv≡箴≡2≡18≡他的家陷入死地；他的路偏向陰間。
rsv≡箴≡2≡18≡for her house sinks down to death, and her paths to the shades;
cuv≡箴≡2≡19≡凡到他那裡去的，不得轉回，也得不著生命的路。
rsv≡箴≡2≡19≡none who go to her come back nor do they regain the paths of life.
cuv≡箴≡2≡20≡智慧必使你行善人的道，守義人的路。
rsv≡箴≡2≡20≡So you will walk in the way of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous.
cuv≡箴≡2≡21≡正直人必在世上居住；完全人必在地上存留。
rsv≡箴≡2≡21≡For the upright will inhabit the land, and men of integrity will remain in it;
cuv≡箴≡2≡22≡惟有惡人必然剪除；奸詐的，必然拔出。
rsv≡箴≡2≡22≡but the wicked will be cut off from the land, and the treacherous will be rooted out of it.
cuv≡箴≡3≡1≡我兒，不要忘記我的法則（或作：指教）；你心要謹守我的誡命；
rsv≡箴≡3≡1≡My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments;
cuv≡箴≡3≡2≡因為他必將長久的日子，生命的年數與平安，加給你。
rsv≡箴≡3≡2≡for length of days and years of life and abundant welfare will they give you.
cuv≡箴≡3≡3≡不可使慈愛、誠實離開你，要繫在你頸項上，刻在你心版上。
rsv≡箴≡3≡3≡Let not loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them about your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
cuv≡箴≡3≡4≡這樣，你必在神和世人眼前蒙恩寵，有聰明。
rsv≡箴≡3≡4≡So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and man.
cuv≡箴≡3≡5≡你要專心仰賴耶和華，不可倚靠自己的聰明，
rsv≡箴≡3≡5≡Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.
cuv≡箴≡3≡6≡在你一切所行的事上都要認定他，他必指引你的路。
rsv≡箴≡3≡6≡In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
cuv≡箴≡3≡7≡不要自以為有智慧；要敬畏耶和華，遠離惡事。
rsv≡箴≡3≡7≡Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
cuv≡箴≡3≡8≡這便醫治你的肚臍，滋潤你的百骨。
rsv≡箴≡3≡8≡It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.
cuv≡箴≡3≡9≡你要以財物和一切初熟的土產尊榮耶和華。
rsv≡箴≡3≡9≡Honor the LORD with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce;
cuv≡箴≡3≡10≡這樣，你的倉房必充滿有餘；你的酒醡有新酒盈溢。
rsv≡箴≡3≡10≡then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.
cuv≡箴≡3≡11≡我兒，你不可輕看耶和華的管教（或作：懲治），也不可厭煩他的責備；
rsv≡箴≡3≡11≡My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline or be weary of his reproof,
cuv≡箴≡3≡12≡因為耶和華所愛的，他必責備，正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。
rsv≡箴≡3≡12≡for the LORD reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights.
cuv≡箴≡3≡13≡得智慧，得聰明的，這人便為有福。
rsv≡箴≡3≡13≡Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gets understanding,
cuv≡箴≡3≡14≡因為得智慧勝過得銀子，其利益強如精金，
rsv≡箴≡3≡14≡for the gain from it is better than gain from silver and its profit better than gold.
cuv≡箴≡3≡15≡比珍珠（或作：紅寶石）寶貴；你一切所喜愛的，都不足與比較。
rsv≡箴≡3≡15≡She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her.
cuv≡箴≡3≡16≡他右手有長壽，左手有富貴。
rsv≡箴≡3≡16≡Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
cuv≡箴≡3≡17≡他的道是安樂；他的路全是平安。
rsv≡箴≡3≡17≡Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
cuv≡箴≡3≡18≡他與持守他的作生命樹；持定他的，俱各有福。
rsv≡箴≡3≡18≡She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy.
cuv≡箴≡3≡19≡耶和華以智慧立地，以聰明定天，
rsv≡箴≡3≡19≡The LORD by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding he established the heavens;
cuv≡箴≡3≡20≡以知識使深淵裂開，使天空滴下甘露。
rsv≡箴≡3≡20≡by his knowledge the deeps broke forth, and the clouds drop down the dew.
cuv≡箴≡3≡21≡我兒，要謹守真智慧和謀略，不可使他離開你的眼目。
rsv≡箴≡3≡21≡My son, keep sound wisdom and discretion; let them not escape from your sight,
cuv≡箴≡3≡22≡這樣，他必作你的生命，頸項的美飾。
rsv≡箴≡3≡22≡and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck.
cuv≡箴≡3≡23≡你就坦然行路，不致碰腳。
rsv≡箴≡3≡23≡Then you will walk on your way securely and your foot will not stumble.
cuv≡箴≡3≡24≡你躺下，必不懼怕；你躺臥，睡得香甜。
rsv≡箴≡3≡24≡If you sit down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
cuv≡箴≡3≡25≡忽然來的驚恐，不要害怕；惡人遭毀滅，也不要恐懼。
rsv≡箴≡3≡25≡Do not be afraid of sudden panic, or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes;
cuv≡箴≡3≡26≡因為耶和華是你所倚靠的；他必保守你的腳不陷入網羅。
rsv≡箴≡3≡26≡for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.
cuv≡箴≡3≡27≡你手若有行善的力量，不可推辭，就當向那應得的人施行。
rsv≡箴≡3≡27≡Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.
cuv≡箴≡3≡28≡你那裡若有現成的，不可對鄰舍說：去吧，明天再來，我必給你。
rsv≡箴≡3≡28≡Do not say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it' -- when you have it with you.
cuv≡箴≡3≡29≡你的鄰舍既在你附近安居，你不可設計害他。
rsv≡箴≡3≡29≡Do not plan evil against your neighbor who dwells trustingly beside you.
cuv≡箴≡3≡30≡人未曾加害與你，不可無故與他相爭。
rsv≡箴≡3≡30≡Do not contend with a man for no reason, when he has done you no harm.
cuv≡箴≡3≡31≡不可嫉妒強暴的人，也不可選擇他所行的路。
rsv≡箴≡3≡31≡Do not envy a man of violence and do not choose any of his ways;
cuv≡箴≡3≡32≡因為，乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡；正直人為他所親密。
rsv≡箴≡3≡32≡for the perverse man is an abomination to the LORD, but the upright are in his confidence.
cuv≡箴≡3≡33≡耶和華咒詛惡人的家庭，賜福與義人的居所。
rsv≡箴≡3≡33≡The LORD's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the abode of the righteous.
cuv≡箴≡3≡34≡他譏誚那好譏誚的人，賜恩給謙卑的人。
rsv≡箴≡3≡34≡Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he shows favor.
cuv≡箴≡3≡35≡智慧人必承受尊榮；愚昧人高升也成為羞辱。
rsv≡箴≡3≡35≡The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace.
cuv≡箴≡4≡1≡眾子啊，要聽父親的教訓，留心得知聰明。
rsv≡箴≡4≡1≡Hear, O sons, a father's instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain insight;
cuv≡箴≡4≡2≡因我所給你們的是好教訓；不可離棄我的法則（或作：指教）。
rsv≡箴≡4≡2≡for I give you good precepts: do not forsake my teaching.
cuv≡箴≡4≡3≡我在父親面前為孝子，在母親眼中為獨一的嬌兒。
rsv≡箴≡4≡3≡When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother,
cuv≡箴≡4≡4≡父親教訓我說：你心要存記我的言語，遵守我的命令，便得存活。
rsv≡箴≡4≡4≡he taught me, and said to me, 'Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live;
cuv≡箴≡4≡5≡要得智慧，要得聰明，不可忘記，也不可偏離我口中的言語。
rsv≡箴≡4≡5≡do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Get wisdom; get insight.
cuv≡箴≡4≡6≡不可離棄智慧，智慧就護衛你；要愛他，他就保守你。
rsv≡箴≡4≡6≡Do not forsake her, and she will keep you; love her, and she will guard you.
cuv≡箴≡4≡7≡智慧為首；所以，要得智慧。在你一切所得之內必得聰明（或作：用你一切所得的去換聰明）。
rsv≡箴≡4≡7≡The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight.
cuv≡箴≡4≡8≡高舉智慧，他就使你高升；懷抱智慧，他就使你尊榮。
rsv≡箴≡4≡8≡Prize her highly, and she will exalt you; she will honor you if you embrace her.
cuv≡箴≡4≡9≡他必將華冠加在你頭上，把榮冕交給你。
rsv≡箴≡4≡9≡She will place on your head a fair garland; she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.'
cuv≡箴≡4≡10≡我兒，你要聽受我的言語，就必延年益壽。
rsv≡箴≡4≡10≡Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.
cuv≡箴≡4≡11≡我已指教你走智慧的道，引導你行正直的路。
rsv≡箴≡4≡11≡I have taught you the way of wisdom; I have led you in the paths of uprightness.
cuv≡箴≡4≡12≡你行走，腳步必不致狹窄；你奔跑，也不致跌倒。
rsv≡箴≡4≡12≡When you walk, your step will not be hampered; and if you run, you will not stumble.
cuv≡箴≡4≡13≡要持定訓誨，不可放鬆；必當謹守，因為他是你的生命。
rsv≡箴≡4≡13≡Keep hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.
cuv≡箴≡4≡14≡不可行惡人的路；不要走壞人的道。
rsv≡箴≡4≡14≡Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not walk in the way of evil men.
cuv≡箴≡4≡15≡要躲避，不可經過；要轉身而去。
rsv≡箴≡4≡15≡Avoid it; do not go on it;turn away from it and pass on.
cuv≡箴≡4≡16≡這等人若不行惡，不得睡覺；不使人跌倒，睡臥不安；
rsv≡箴≡4≡16≡For they cannot sleep unless they have done wrong; they are robbed of sleep unless they have made some one stumble.
cuv≡箴≡4≡17≡因為他們以奸惡喫餅，以強暴喝酒。
rsv≡箴≡4≡17≡For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
cuv≡箴≡4≡18≡但義人的路好像黎明的光，越照越明，直到日午。
rsv≡箴≡4≡18≡But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
cuv≡箴≡4≡19≡惡人的道好像幽暗，自己不知因甚麼跌倒。
rsv≡箴≡4≡19≡The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know over what they stumble.
cuv≡箴≡4≡20≡我兒，要留心聽我的言詞，側耳聽我的話語，
rsv≡箴≡4≡20≡My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
cuv≡箴≡4≡21≡都不可離你的眼目，要存記在你心中。
rsv≡箴≡4≡21≡Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.
cuv≡箴≡4≡22≡因為得著他的，就得了生命，又得了醫全體的良藥。
rsv≡箴≡4≡22≡For they are life to him who finds them, and healing to all his flesh.
cuv≡箴≡4≡23≡你要保守你心，勝過保守一切（或作：你要切切保守你心），因為一生的果效是由心發出。
rsv≡箴≡4≡23≡Keep your heart with all vigilance; for from it flow the springs of life.
cuv≡箴≡4≡24≡你要除掉邪僻的口，棄絕乖謬的嘴。
rsv≡箴≡4≡24≡Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you.
cuv≡箴≡4≡25≡你的眼目要向前正看；你的眼睛（原文是皮）當向前直觀。
rsv≡箴≡4≡25≡Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.
cuv≡箴≡4≡26≡要修平你腳下的路，堅定你一切的道。
rsv≡箴≡4≡26≡Take heed to the path of your feet, then all your ways will be sure.
cuv≡箴≡4≡27≡不可偏向左右；要使你的腳離開邪惡。
rsv≡箴≡4≡27≡Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil.
cuv≡箴≡5≡1≡我兒，要留心我智慧的話語，側耳聽我聰明的言詞，
rsv≡箴≡5≡1≡My son, be attentive to my wisdom, incline your ear to my understanding;
cuv≡箴≡5≡2≡為要使你謹守謀略，嘴唇保存知識。
rsv≡箴≡5≡2≡that you may keep discretion, and your lips may guard knowledge.
cuv≡箴≡5≡3≡因為淫婦的嘴滴下蜂蜜；他的口比油更滑，
rsv≡箴≡5≡3≡For the lips of a loose woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil;
cuv≡箴≡5≡4≡至終卻苦似茵蔯，快如兩刃的刀。
rsv≡箴≡5≡4≡but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword.

rsv≡箴≡5≡5≡Her feet go down to death; her steps follow the path to Sheol;

rsv≡箴≡5≡6≡she does not take heed to the path of life; her ways wander, and she does not know it.
cuv≡箴≡5≡7≡眾子啊，現在要聽從我；不可離棄我口中的話。

cuv≡箴≡5≡10≡恐怕外人滿得你的力量，你勞碌得來的，歸入外人的家；
rsv≡箴≡5≡10≡lest strangers take their fill of your strength, and your labors go to the house of an alien;
cuv≡箴≡5≡11≡終久，你皮肉和身體消毀，你就悲歎，
rsv≡箴≡5≡11≡and at the end of your life you groan, when your flesh and body are consumed,
cuv≡箴≡5≡12≡說：我怎麼恨惡訓誨，心中藐視責備，
rsv≡箴≡5≡12≡and you say, 'How I hated discipline, and my heart despised reproof!
cuv≡箴≡5≡13≡也不聽從我師傅的話，又不側耳聽那教訓我的人？
rsv≡箴≡5≡13≡I did not listen to the voice of my teachers or incline my ear to my instructors.
cuv≡箴≡5≡14≡我在聖會裡，幾乎落在諸般惡中。
rsv≡箴≡5≡14≡I was at the point of utter ruin in the assembled congregation.'
cuv≡箴≡5≡15≡你要喝自己池中的水，飲自己井裡的活水。
rsv≡箴≡5≡15≡Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.
cuv≡箴≡5≡16≡你的泉源豈可漲溢在外？你的河水豈可流在街上？
rsv≡箴≡5≡16≡Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?
cuv≡箴≡5≡17≡惟獨歸你一人，不可與外人同用。
rsv≡箴≡5≡17≡Let them be for yourself alone, and not for strangers with you.
cuv≡箴≡5≡18≡要使你的泉源蒙福；要喜悅你幼年所娶的妻。
rsv≡箴≡5≡18≡Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth,
cuv≡箴≡5≡19≡他如可愛的麀鹿，可喜的母鹿；願他的胸懷使你時時知足，他的愛情使你常常戀慕。
rsv≡箴≡5≡19≡a lovely hind, a graceful doe. Let her affection fill you at all times with delight, be infatuated always with her love.
cuv≡箴≡5≡20≡我兒，你為何戀慕淫婦？為何抱外女的胸懷？
rsv≡箴≡5≡20≡Why should you be infatuated, my son, with a loose woman and embrace the bosom of an adventuress?
cuv≡箴≡5≡21≡因為，人所行的道都在耶和華眼前；他也修平人一切的路。
rsv≡箴≡5≡21≡For a man's ways are before the eyes of the LORD, and he watches all his paths.
cuv≡箴≡5≡22≡惡人必被自己的罪孽捉住；他必被自己的罪惡如繩索纏繞。
rsv≡箴≡5≡22≡The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is caught in the toils of his sin.
cuv≡箴≡5≡23≡他因不受訓誨就必死亡；又因愚昧過甚，必走差了路。
rsv≡箴≡5≡23≡He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is lost.
cuv≡箴≡6≡1≡我兒，你若為朋友作保，替外人擊掌，
rsv≡箴≡6≡1≡My son, if you have become surety for your neighbor, have given your pledge for a stranger;
cuv≡箴≡6≡2≡你就被口中的話語纏住，被嘴裡的言語捉住。
rsv≡箴≡6≡2≡if you are snared in the utterance of your lips, caught in the words of your mouth;
cuv≡箴≡6≡3≡我兒，你既落在朋友手中，就當這樣行纔可救自己：你要自卑，去懇求你的朋友。
rsv≡箴≡6≡3≡then do this, my son, and save yourself, for you have come into your neighbor's power: go, hasten, and importune your neighbor.
cuv≡箴≡6≡4≡不要容你的眼睛睡覺；不要容你的眼皮打盹。
rsv≡箴≡6≡4≡Give your eyes no sleep and your eyelids no slumber;
cuv≡箴≡6≡5≡要救自己，如鹿脫離獵戶的手，如鳥脫離捕鳥人的手。
rsv≡箴≡6≡5≡save yourself like a gazelle from the hunter, like a bird from the hand of the fowler.
cuv≡箴≡6≡6≡懶惰人哪，你去察看螞蟻的動作就可得智慧。
rsv≡箴≡6≡6≡Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.
cuv≡箴≡6≡7≡螞蟻沒有元帥，沒有官長，沒有君王，
rsv≡箴≡6≡7≡Without having any chief, officer or ruler,
cuv≡箴≡6≡8≡尚且在夏天預備食物，在收割時聚斂糧食。
rsv≡箴≡6≡8≡she prepares her food in summer, and gathers her sustenance in harvest.
cuv≡箴≡6≡9≡懶惰人哪，你要睡到幾時呢？你何時睡醒呢？
rsv≡箴≡6≡9≡How long will you lie there, O sluggard? When will you arise from your sleep?
cuv≡箴≡6≡10≡再睡片時，打盹片時，抱著手躺臥片時，
rsv≡箴≡6≡10≡A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest,
cuv≡箴≡6≡11≡你的貧窮就必如強盜速來，你的缺乏彷彿拿兵器的人來到。
rsv≡箴≡6≡11≡and poverty will come upon you like a vagabond, and want like an armed man.
cuv≡箴≡6≡12≡無賴的惡徒，行動就用乖僻的口，
rsv≡箴≡6≡12≡A worthless person, a wicked man, goes about with crooked speech,
cuv≡箴≡6≡13≡用眼傳神，用腳示意，用指點劃，
rsv≡箴≡6≡13≡winks with his eyes, scrapes with his feet, points with his finger,
cuv≡箴≡6≡14≡心中乖僻，常設惡謀，布散紛爭。
rsv≡箴≡6≡14≡with perverted heart devises evil, continually sowing discord;
cuv≡箴≡6≡15≡所以，災難必忽然臨到他身；他必頃刻敗壞，無法可治。
rsv≡箴≡6≡15≡therefore calamity will come upon him suddenly; in a moment he will be broken beyond healing.
cuv≡箴≡6≡16≡耶和華所恨惡的有六樣，連他心所憎惡的共有七樣：
rsv≡箴≡6≡16≡There are six things which the LORD hates, seven which are an abomination to him:
cuv≡箴≡6≡17≡就是高傲的眼，撒謊的舌，流無辜人血的手，
rsv≡箴≡6≡17≡haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
cuv≡箴≡6≡18≡圖謀惡計的心，飛跑行惡的腳，
rsv≡箴≡6≡18≡a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
cuv≡箴≡6≡19≡吐謊言的假見證，並弟兄中布散紛爭的人。
rsv≡箴≡6≡19≡a false witness who breathes out lies, and a man who sows discord among brothers.
cuv≡箴≡6≡20≡我兒，要謹守你父親的誡命；不可離棄你母親的法則（或作：指教），
rsv≡箴≡6≡20≡My son, keep your father's commandment, and forsake not your mother's teaching.
cuv≡箴≡6≡21≡要常繫在你心上，掛在你項上。
rsv≡箴≡6≡21≡Bind them upon your heart always; tie them about your neck.
cuv≡箴≡6≡22≡你行走，他必引導你；你躺臥，他必保守你；你睡醒，他必與你談論。
rsv≡箴≡6≡22≡When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you;and when you awake, they will talk with you.

rsv≡箴≡6≡23≡For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,

rsv≡箴≡6≡25≡Do not desire her beauty in your heart, and do not let her capture you with her eyelashes;
cuv≡箴≡6≡26≡因為，妓女能使人只剩一塊餅；淫婦獵取人寶貴的生命。
rsv≡箴≡6≡26≡for a harlot may be hired for a loaf of bread, but an adulteress stalks a man's very life.
cuv≡箴≡6≡27≡人若懷裡搋火，衣服豈能不燒呢？
rsv≡箴≡6≡27≡Can a man carry fire in his bosom and his clothes not be burned?
cuv≡箴≡6≡28≡人若在火炭上走，腳豈能不燙呢？
rsv≡箴≡6≡28≡Or can one walk upon hot coals and his feet not be scorched?
cuv≡箴≡6≡29≡親近鄰舍之妻的，也是如此；凡挨近他的，不免受罰。
rsv≡箴≡6≡29≡So is he who goes in to his neighbor's wife; none who touches her will go unpunished.
cuv≡箴≡6≡30≡賊因飢餓偷竊充飢，人不藐視他，
rsv≡箴≡6≡30≡Do not men despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his appetite when he is hungry?
cuv≡箴≡6≡31≡若被找著，他必賠還七倍，必將家中所有的盡都償還。
rsv≡箴≡6≡31≡And if he is caught, he will pay sevenfold; he will give all the goods of his house.
cuv≡箴≡6≡32≡與婦人行淫的，便是無知；行這事的，必喪掉生命。
rsv≡箴≡6≡32≡He who commits adultery has no sense; he who does it destroys himself.
cuv≡箴≡6≡33≡他必受傷損，必被凌辱；他的羞恥不得塗抹。
rsv≡箴≡6≡33≡Wounds and dishonor will he get, and his disgrace will not be wiped away.
cuv≡箴≡6≡34≡因為人的嫉恨成了烈怒，報仇的時候決不留情。
rsv≡箴≡6≡34≡For jealousy makes a man furious, and he will not spare when he takes revenge.
cuv≡箴≡6≡35≡甚麼贖價，他都不顧；你雖送許多禮物，他也不肯干休。
rsv≡箴≡6≡35≡He will accept no compensation, nor be appeased though you multiply gifts.
cuv≡箴≡7≡1≡我兒，你要遵守我的言語，將我的命令存記在心。
rsv≡箴≡7≡1≡My son, keep my words and treasure up my commandments with you;
cuv≡箴≡7≡2≡遵守我的命令就得存活；保守我的法則（或作：指教），好像保守眼中的瞳人，
rsv≡箴≡7≡2≡keep my commandments and live, keep my teachings as the apple of your eye;
cuv≡箴≡7≡3≡繫在你指頭上，刻在你心版上。
rsv≡箴≡7≡3≡bind them on your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.
cuv≡箴≡7≡4≡對智慧說：你是我的姊妹，稱呼聰明為你的親人，
rsv≡箴≡7≡4≡Say to wisdom, 'You are my sister,' and call insight your intimate friend;
cuv≡箴≡7≡5≡他就保你遠離淫婦，遠離說諂媚話的外女。
rsv≡箴≡7≡5≡to preserve you from the loose woman, from the adventuress with her smooth words.
cuv≡箴≡7≡6≡我曾在我房屋的窗戶內，從我窗櫺之間往外觀看：
rsv≡箴≡7≡6≡For at the window of my house I have looked out through my lattice,
cuv≡箴≡7≡7≡見愚蒙人內，少年人中，分明有一個無知的少年人，
rsv≡箴≡7≡7≡and I have seen among the simple, I have perceived among the youths, a young man without sense,
cuv≡箴≡7≡8≡從街上經過，走近淫婦的巷口，直往通他家的路去，
rsv≡箴≡7≡8≡passing along the street near her corner, taking the road to her house
cuv≡箴≡7≡9≡在黃昏，或晚上，或半夜，或黑暗之中。
rsv≡箴≡7≡9≡in the twilight, in the evening, at the time of night and darkness.
cuv≡箴≡7≡10≡看哪，有一個婦人來迎接他，是妓女的打扮，有詭詐的心思。
rsv≡箴≡7≡10≡And lo, a woman meets him, dressed as a harlot, wily of heart.
cuv≡箴≡7≡11≡這婦人喧嚷，不守約束，在家裡停不住腳，
rsv≡箴≡7≡11≡She is loud and wayward, her feet do not stay at home;
cuv≡箴≡7≡12≡有時在街市上，有時在寬闊處，或在各巷口蹲伏，
rsv≡箴≡7≡12≡now in the street, now in the market, and at every corner she lies in wait.
cuv≡箴≡7≡13≡拉住那少年人，與他親嘴，臉無羞恥對他說：
rsv≡箴≡7≡13≡She seizes him and kisses him, and with impudent face she says to him:
cuv≡箴≡7≡14≡平安祭在我這裡，今日纔還了我所許的願。
rsv≡箴≡7≡14≡'I had to offer sacrifices, and today I have paid my vows;
cuv≡箴≡7≡15≡因此，我出來迎接你，懇切求見你的面，恰巧遇見了你。
rsv≡箴≡7≡15≡so now I have come out to meet you, to seek you eagerly, and I have found you.

rsv≡箴≡7≡18≡Come, let us take our fill of love till morning; let us delight ourselves with love.

cuv≡箴≡7≡21≡淫婦用許多巧言誘他隨從，用諂媚的嘴逼他同行。
rsv≡箴≡7≡21≡With much seductive speech she persuades him; with her smooth talk she compels him.
cuv≡箴≡7≡22≡少年人立刻跟隨他，好像牛往宰殺之地，又像愚昧人帶鎖鍊去受刑罰，
rsv≡箴≡7≡22≡All at once he follows her, as an ox goes to the slaughter, or as a stag is caught fast
cuv≡箴≡7≡23≡直等箭穿他的肝，如同雀鳥急入網羅，卻不知是自喪己命。
rsv≡箴≡7≡23≡till an arrow pierces its entrails; as a bird rushes into a snare;he does not know that it will cost him his life.
cuv≡箴≡7≡24≡眾子啊，現在要聽從我，留心聽我口中的話。
rsv≡箴≡7≡24≡And now, O sons, listen to me, and be attentive to the words of my mouth.
cuv≡箴≡7≡25≡你的心不可偏向淫婦的道，不要入他的迷途。
rsv≡箴≡7≡25≡Let not your heart turn aside to her ways, do not stray into her paths;
cuv≡箴≡7≡26≡因為，被他傷害仆倒的不少；被他殺戮的而且甚多。
rsv≡箴≡7≡26≡for many a victim has she laid low; yea, all her slain are a mighty host.
cuv≡箴≡7≡27≡他的家是在陰間之路，下到死亡之宮。
rsv≡箴≡7≡27≡Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the chambers of death.
cuv≡箴≡8≡1≡智慧豈不呼叫？聰明豈不發聲？
rsv≡箴≡8≡1≡Does not wisdom call, does not understanding raise her voice?
cuv≡箴≡8≡2≡他在道旁高處的頂上，在十字路口站立，
rsv≡箴≡8≡2≡On the heights beside the way, in the paths she takes her stand;
cuv≡箴≡8≡3≡在城門旁，在城門口，在城門洞，大聲說：
rsv≡箴≡8≡3≡beside the gates in front of the town, at the entrance of the portals she cries aloud:
cuv≡箴≡8≡4≡眾人哪，我呼叫你們，我向世人發聲。
rsv≡箴≡8≡4≡'To you, O men, I call, and my cry is to the sons of men.
cuv≡箴≡8≡5≡說：愚蒙人哪，你們要會悟靈明；愚昧人哪，你們當心裡明白。
rsv≡箴≡8≡5≡O simple ones, learn prudence; O foolish men, pay attention.
cuv≡箴≡8≡6≡你們當聽，因我要說極美的話；我張嘴要論正直的事。
rsv≡箴≡8≡6≡Hear, for I will speak noble things, and from my lips will come what is right;
cuv≡箴≡8≡7≡我的口要發出真理；我的嘴憎惡邪惡。
rsv≡箴≡8≡7≡for my mouth will utter truth; wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
cuv≡箴≡8≡8≡我口中的言語都是公義，並無彎曲乖僻。
rsv≡箴≡8≡8≡All the words of my mouth are righteous; there is nothing twisted or crooked in them.
cuv≡箴≡8≡9≡有聰明的，以為明顯，得知識的，以為正直。
rsv≡箴≡8≡9≡They are all straight to him who understands and right to those who find knowledge.
cuv≡箴≡8≡10≡你們當受我的教訓，不受白銀；寧得知識，勝過黃金。
rsv≡箴≡8≡10≡Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold;
cuv≡箴≡8≡11≡因為智慧比珍珠（或作：紅寶石）更美；一切可喜愛的都不足與比較。
rsv≡箴≡8≡11≡for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.
cuv≡箴≡8≡12≡我智慧以靈明為居所，又尋得知識和謀略。
rsv≡箴≡8≡12≡I, wisdom, dwell in prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion.
cuv≡箴≡8≡13≡敬畏耶和華在乎恨惡邪惡；那驕傲、狂妄，並惡道，以及乖謬的口，都為我所恨惡。
rsv≡箴≡8≡13≡The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.
cuv≡箴≡8≡14≡我有謀略和真知識；我乃聰明，我有能力。
rsv≡箴≡8≡14≡I have counsel and sound wisdom, I have insight, I have strength.
cuv≡箴≡8≡15≡帝王藉我坐國位；君王藉我定公平。
rsv≡箴≡8≡15≡By me kings reign, and rulers decree what is just;
cuv≡箴≡8≡16≡王子和首領，世上一切的審判官，都是藉我掌權。
rsv≡箴≡8≡16≡by me princes rule, and nobles govern the earth.
cuv≡箴≡8≡17≡愛我的，我也愛他；懇切尋求我的，必尋得見。
rsv≡箴≡8≡17≡I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.
cuv≡箴≡8≡18≡豐富尊榮在我；恆久的財並公義也在我。
rsv≡箴≡8≡18≡Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and prosperity.
cuv≡箴≡8≡19≡我的果實勝過黃金，強如精金；我的出產超乎高銀。
rsv≡箴≡8≡19≡My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold, and my yield than choice silver.
cuv≡箴≡8≡20≡我在公義的道上走，在公平的路中行，
rsv≡箴≡8≡20≡I walk in the way of righteousness, in the paths of justice,
cuv≡箴≡8≡21≡使愛我的，承受貨財，並充滿他們的府庫。
rsv≡箴≡8≡21≡endowing with wealth those who love me, and filling their treasuries.
cuv≡箴≡8≡22≡在耶和華造化的起頭，在太初創造萬物之先，就有了我。
rsv≡箴≡8≡22≡The LORD created me at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of old.
cuv≡箴≡8≡23≡從亙古，從太初，未有世界以前，我已被立。
rsv≡箴≡8≡23≡Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth.
cuv≡箴≡8≡24≡沒有深淵，沒有大水的泉源，我已生出。
rsv≡箴≡8≡24≡When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water.
cuv≡箴≡8≡25≡大山未曾奠定，小山未有之先，我已生出。
rsv≡箴≡8≡25≡Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth;
cuv≡箴≡8≡26≡耶和華還沒有創造大地和田野，並世上的土質，我已生出。
rsv≡箴≡8≡26≡before he had made the earth with its fields, or the first of the dust of the world.
cuv≡箴≡8≡27≡他立高天，我在那裡；他在淵面的周圍，劃出圓圈。
rsv≡箴≡8≡27≡When he established the heavens, I was there, when he drew a circle on the face of the deep,
cuv≡箴≡8≡28≡上使穹蒼堅硬，下使淵源穩固，
rsv≡箴≡8≡28≡when he made firm the skies above, when he established the fountains of the deep,
cuv≡箴≡8≡29≡為滄海定出界限，使水不越過他的命令，立定大地的根基。
rsv≡箴≡8≡29≡when he assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters might not transgress his command, when he marked out the foundations of the earth,

rsv≡箴≡8≡33≡Hear instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it.
cuv≡箴≡8≡34≡聽從我、日日在我門口仰望、在我門框旁邊等候的，那人便為有福。
rsv≡箴≡8≡34≡Happy is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors.
cuv≡箴≡8≡35≡因為尋得我的，就尋得生命，也必蒙耶和華的恩惠。
rsv≡箴≡8≡35≡For he who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the LORD;
cuv≡箴≡8≡36≡得罪我的，卻害了自己的性命；恨惡我的，都喜愛死亡。
rsv≡箴≡8≡36≡but he who misses me injures himself; all who hate me love death.'
cuv≡箴≡9≡1≡智慧建造房屋，鑿成七根柱子，
rsv≡箴≡9≡1≡Wisdom has built her house, she has set up her seven pillars.
cuv≡箴≡9≡2≡宰殺牲畜，調和旨酒，設擺筵席；
rsv≡箴≡9≡2≡She has slaughtered her beasts, she has mixed her wine, she has also set her table.
cuv≡箴≡9≡3≡打發使女出去，自己在城中至高處呼叫，
rsv≡箴≡9≡3≡She has sent out her maids to call from the highest places in the town,
cuv≡箴≡9≡4≡說：誰是愚蒙人，可以轉到這裡來！又對那無知的人說：
rsv≡箴≡9≡4≡'Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!' To him who is without sense she says,
cuv≡箴≡9≡5≡你們來，喫我的餅，喝我調和的酒。
rsv≡箴≡9≡5≡'Come, eat of my bread and drink of the wine I have mixed.
cuv≡箴≡9≡6≡你們愚蒙人，要捨棄愚蒙，就得存活，並要走光明的道。
rsv≡箴≡9≡6≡Leave simpleness, and live, and walk in the way of insight.'
cuv≡箴≡9≡7≡指斥褻慢人的，必受辱罵；責備惡人的，必被玷污。
rsv≡箴≡9≡7≡He who corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
cuv≡箴≡9≡8≡不要責備褻慢人，恐怕他恨你；要責備智慧人，他必愛你。
